So after sampling a few Thai lasses in the UK and then reading a few reviews on here and elsewhere, I thought fuck it, I’m going to Bangkok!!!

Here I am and it’s day one - technically day one has been 7hrs but in that time I’ve been to the gym, eaten some decent food on Soi 11 where I’m staying, mooched the freelancers on the streets, got acquainted to Aussie birds in Hillary’s and dipped my toe into Nana Plaza.

As an overview of NP and the night from here:

- Walked around and had a look at all floors and places to get my bearings. It’s a Wednesday night and it seemed quiet in the majority of bars.

- Went into Billboard - it was the busiest, lasses were on the podium spinning on one side, in the hot tub and dancing on the other. It was ok but nothing special - had a couple of beers and left.

- Went into Twisters on the ground floor out curiosity more than anything. Had a decent seat but the lasses were bang average until a mass changeover when they improved. I’d seen enough though and left after a beer.

- Went into Rainbow 2 - it’s a fairly small place and was dead (less a couple of lads about to get filled in for not paying their bar-tab) but there must have been 30 women in there who were honestly unbelievable; not a munter in sight so I stayed. Sat down to be met with every lass waving at me and the manager asking if I wanted to talk to anyone. Chose a Korean looking lass hiding in the back purely because she looked less of a fake “pick me your amazing” player. Barfine was 1000 but I jokingly said “I’m not paying that it’s dead” so it turned into 500 without hesitation. Lass was another 3000 on top of that and I was on my way. Day two got off to a flyer…. Missed breakfast but got up and started mooching for nuru options. Found a few but went with an option that gave me 20% off if I booked on line app. Made it to Kokoro and indulged in my first ever proper nuru. Fairly enjoyed it (definitely recommend the place) but on reflection nuru is a fucking lot of effort. Whilst I came out squeaky clean and somewhat relaxed it wasn’t what i expected! Open minded though so I’ll try another place tomorrow.

Had dinner just off Soi Cowboy and walked through on my way back (unreal street food options during the day if that’s your thing). I binned off waiting and went to the gym and then binned off waiting for another and went for tea on Soi 11.

Back out - went past Thermea but didn’t go in and onto SC. Decided SC wasn’t for me - too touristy and too many western blokes randomly walking up and down with their Mrs sightseeing and endless amounts of Chinese youth being giddy! It was busy but there didn’t seem to be too many people actually going into the places and lasses in the street looked at a loss as to how to hook the mass of sightseers. Stopped at Baccara for a beer (190B) outside and to watch the world go by before going in. Seemed ok - busy enough, plenty of women and looked good but my interest lasted 5 minutes so I left. Had another beer on my way back and hooked a hottie on Thai Friendly who had “just driven into Bangkok to see her grandmother”… I took that as a code for finished work in a bar. Either way, 2000 for an hour in my room seemed like a decent punt so that’s how the night ended.

Main takeaways - nuru was ok, use Thai Friendly (between 8pm and 1am is most active for freelancers and I’ve found outside these times you’re generally wasting time), Telegram is useful but download Line as the main means to communicate, don’t be afraid to add everyone and everything on Line as a friend (they often send default links, pictures and videos) and it’s ok to bin something if you’re not feeling it because there’s a thousand other options around!

Day 3 - As an overview, nuru got better, my use of TF decreased but positive output increased, FLs are the most economical means of punting and as is anywhere, there’s a host of knobheads in Bangkok that lack social skills and basic respect for others that impact what Thais think of us all! In detail:

- alluded to earlier went to Aries for nuru because the internet told me to! I’ve not read a bad review of the place (google other Thailand and Bangkok specific forums). Added them on Line, asked who was available and 45 mins later I was there and getting undressed by an enthusiastic and fit Thai in her 20s. Slightly on the expensive side (5000B) but why would anyone fly out here then complain of an extra bit of spend. Aries nuru was much less of a faff, much more relaxing and enjoyable; think I’ve had my fill of nuru now though!

- I avoided TF during the day, tapped in at 6pm to be met with messages from the usual 35-45yr old mums (2500B for LT). Once online though I’m instantly matched with a few early 20s lasses; organised one (22yr old) to come to mine at 9pm - cost me 2000B for an hour. I don’t need anything longer than that because I get bored once I’m done. It’s useful to have “should I walk you out of the hotel” prepped on Google translate because once you show that, they soon take the hint and fuck off.

- Finally, I’m taken aback by the volume of openly antisocial behaviour - I’ve watched an old Scottish fella randomly enter a bar to sit with a young Thai girl who was alone and then proceeded to eat off her plate and leeringly grope/harrass/pester her… he got fucked off within minutes; there’s indians which range from decent ones who look to have a laugh (I’m their white mate in the hotel), to utterly disgusting ones that roam like packs of wild dogs and then onto a host of stuck up Indian cunts who walk around like they own the place with grandparents and young kids in tow. Then add in pissed up Aussies/Americans/europeans who literally stand in the street/bar shouting random bollocks at anyone that passes/stands next to them - it’s a bizarre old place!

I thought I’d take it easy tonight so ate on Soi 11 again and have mooched around the bars here. Freelancers everywhere but I’ll probably not partake in a third lass for the day!

Random stuff whilst I think about it:

- I had no issue with immigration and having to show that I had cash or a means to fund myself. Had i known that then I wouldn’t have got Baht in the UK. Rates out here and using Revolut (or similar) are better and best.

- The airport was abuse - organise your onward transport to the city before you get here. If you spend enough on Booking they organise it for you (for free).

- My body is awash with viagra just incase I get jaded more than anything. I don’t need it but it’s psychological and makes me last an eternity. What has proved useful therefore has been the Sildenafil Oral Spray (recent UKP thread on it) because I’m planning nothing and fucking multiple times a day. I’m no health professional and I’m probably overdosing on it plus the pills, but it works for me and means I’m always good to go. Randomly, I think it’s making me cut body fat rapidly which supports a study done on rats so that’s a bonus side effect!

- If ladyboys are your thing then this place is paradise. There are bars all over the city but TF is your friend. I’m hounded by offers of ST from them in messages at a cost ranging from 1500B to 3000B and from ladyboys that look fitter than most lasses I’ve fucked!

- Having no plan is working - there is no pressure to do anything or go anywhere. There are a thousand options and wait until you’re here before you organise anything or think about doing something!

- I’ve been here three days and have fucked my way through 17000B if that’s of any use for people looking to work out their budgets.

I’ll start a justgiving to “Trapstar1’s Research”

I was going to create a topic regarding my recent excursion but as yours recent, I'll add info here as it has a few viewers who may benefit. I hope this is OK?

When travelling, I use Wise.
When I signed up, I got the app, a virtual credit card and a physical VISA charge card (need a few days to come through post). I can top up the balance from my bank any time and don't pay conversion fees.

For airport transfers, I downloaded Klook. External Link/Members Only
It was brilliant, just book on the app and you're assigned a driver and you meet the host at level 4 and they call your driver and he comes and picks you up.
Mine cost about £15 and I paid via the app which I had set up for payment with my Wise card.

There are ATM's in the lower floor level that don't rip you off.
I took out 10,000 Baht - about £240 and paid about £3 as a transaction fee.

I picked up a hotel on Sukhumvit Road.

I read all the posts on here before I went out there. Some really decent stuff so thank you, especially to Johnwaynes.

Before I went out, I set up Bolt with my wise card and Thai Friendly which I subscribed to premium for 1 month then cancelled so as not to pay again.
I used a global SIM from Maya mobile and a punting WhatsApp.

I created a Google Maps list of all the hotspots to make life easier when out there.

The first place I tried was External Link/Members Only panorama room was booked out so I was assigned the "shower room".
It is literally a shower with a bed in it and icy AC unit blasting away.
Extremely pretty girl selected from the line up under the direct gaze of her disapproving colleagues.
1 hour for 2,300 Baht. Turns out that at £54 this was a bit steep but fine by me, I just wanted to get started.
It was Ok but note to self not to choose form over function on this trip.

Next venture was Wood Bar. Great name External Link/Members Only
I was feeling flush so I splashed out the full 1,000 Baht on a VIP lady who was wearing an evening dress. Only just though because her bolt-ons were nearly busting through it.
To get to wood bar, you have to walk past a few salons all with girls pitching for your business, this was 2pm so no other punters around. There were tempting offers but I set my sights on wood bar
All the girls gathered round but they let one girl come to the front.

Just had a few nights in Bangkok.

I had tried making contact with Snow Whites before I went and eventually they replied after several days.

I also messaged External Link/Members Only and they were very responsive including sending via WhatsApp app a great link with all girls on and unblurred faces.

First question - What I’ve found is if I’m organising a meet with a freelancer on Thai friendly then I give nothing but the agreed price. Cheapest has been 1500 (ironically was the best) and the most expensive I’ve paid has been 3500. When I’ve met freelancers in bars or clubs they’ve generally offered rates of 3000-5000 but they’re young, fit and have decent chat. I treat the bar/club freelancers like a bird in a bar so I’ll buy them a drink if they’re stood talking to me. There is a trend then of their mates asking for a drink or the bar staff because they see me as a farang but I fuck them off. I also fuck off the ones that walk past, stroke my back or leg and say “what’s your name, should we have a drink?”. Ultimately though, if they’re freelancing in the club then they’re on Thai Friendly and I found that’s the same for Nana Plaza where I’ve recognised a fair few from seeing them in the flesh after noticing their profile.

Peak time I’ve found is 5pm to organise for a 7pm meet which i assume means they meet you as a confirmed reason to come into town and then head to Thermae when they’re done with you.
- Not all lasses come with condoms so make sure you bring some. 1am is also a good time to venture on TF too because the messages with offers flow in then too (they want one last punter before home).
- Say please, thank you and be respectful - it will set you apart from 99% of the other people here and you’ll get a better service or reception for anything that you’re doing.

Not to make a simple question complicated, but note there are 3 types of freelancers (with some overlap):

1) Thai Friendly girls are freelancers.  Like girls on AW, they set their price to meet you.  If they do an out-call to your hotel, it is nice to offer them a drink - same as in UK.  But no bar or drinks are involved in payment. If you do take them to a bar or for food, of course you pay.
2) There are freelancers hanging out in some bars. These girls might be on TF too.  Any deal you make with them is between you two.  But it is normal to buy them a drink to get to know them - it is fine if you don't get a top up yourself or only drink pineapple juice. In Pattaya this is the WS nightclubs, bamboo bar and one or two others.
3) There are freelancers who have 'a deal' with bars.  They might be proud to be freelancers.  The don't have a contract with the bar.  But they get a kick-back for every drink bought for them, and the punter needs to pay the bar a fine when they leave. To you and me, this seems like they work there, but to them it is different.  This is true at lots of beer bars, and in other places in Asia like Wan Chai neighborhood of Hong Kong in girl bars.

You might have heard about minimum drinks rule in some Pattaya bars.  This annoying arrangement is not about freelancers, and I have not heard of it in Bangkok. And if you have not been to Thailand, I'll mention that most of the girls hanging out in bars are not freelancers but actually work there, even if they are just playing on their phone.

There is a famous freelancer bar in Bangkok called Thermae.  Not sure what if any deal they have with the bar, but I don't care.  Meet, pay, fuck works and that is all I need to know.

While not every girl in a bar or club will go to your hotel to fuck, most will, and it is OK to ask.  Less so at 7-eleven and not so much at the police station (in my defense, she was hot and flirty and I was left un-attended)

Appreciate the intel!! It's my first time in Bangkok so I want to come prepared and have the best time. RE: Thai Friendly, is it recommended to sign up and start conversations a few weeks prior to actually arriving in BK? Also, I've read elsewhere that Tinder and Badoo are also good apps with freelancers on there?

I like the idea of going to the bar, at least you can check them out and there isn't the downside of being B&S.

One big question I have though is, what's the safety like in terms of calling them to your place? Since the prices are so low, I'd likely do overnight meets - how safe is this? I don't want to wake up with all my shit being gone.

And finally, I'll be staying in an airbnb most likely so I think bringing them back shouldn't be too hard.

Day 5 - starting to hangout of my arse a bit now and I’m fairly tired. Woke up late and thought I’d have a quiet morning and easy afternoon. Walked to MBK and that was a right fucking mistake (should have used any number of the transport options because it took me about 50 minutes). Useful way to see the city and the people though.

MBK is worth a mooch - think DH Gate’s TraffordCentre or Meadowhall. Every shop made out to look legit but it’s all copied fakes if that’s your thing. i too am a user and fan of TF having used it fairly extensively when in bangkok, Pattaya and Patong in all my 8 trips to thailand  in the last 3 or 4 years and had no B&S at all. occasionally a girl maybe not quite as good as her pics but def no B&S in my experience.

One big question I have though is, what's the safety like in terms of calling them to your place? Since the prices are so low, I'd likely do overnight meets - how safe is this? I don't want to wake up with all my shit being gone.

I don't mind just doing airbnb rather than one week in a hotel - I can't imagine it should affect bringing girls to my place as long as it's clean and good location, no?

I am considering Pattaya, need to do research on whether the quality of woman are actually different there to make the trip worthwhile for me since I'm mostly in bangkok to relax and have a good time.

slimdude - taking guests (ladies) back to a airbnb may (and i stress the word "may") be an issue depending on the airbnb - for example is it an apartment in a very "family" bloc where if you are taking different women back twice a day, every day etc. some might notice and object. But i think SD was also thinking about your safety and your possessions. Hotels can be that safety net that SD mentioned and make sure you are ok and have all your stuff before giving the girl her ID back.

Obviously we are all different and we don't know what your prime purpose for going is - but imo, unless you have other reasons to be in that one place, 4-6 weeks in any one place is too long and is also a lost opportunity to see more of the country and experience different places. If i had 4 weeks i would spread it across Bangkok, Pattaya and Patong at least. Booking accomadation is thailand (via something like Booking.com) is so easy that sometimes i just book my first few days in Bangkok and then go where and when i fancy according to how i feel at the time .

Personally i have no experience of the two other websites you mentioned - i have always found TF more than enough if i want to find a girl online.

My views on it:
- I couldn’t spend more than a week anywhere but especially Bangkok. I came for loads of brief encounters and to make no social connections. It may be different if you’re wanting to meet a bird and stay here or have a touristy tour around.

- The sites you’ve listed are mid-high end escorts that you can get anywhere so I’ve avoided them mainly because I didn’t come to Asia to fuck a European or a South American. If that’s your thing then hunt out the horny tourists because there are loads of them and they’re easy to find (not limited to bars, go and talk to birds walking around the museums or temples) . TF and other sites (not used personally like tantan, tinder etc…) are freelancers that are more amateur or bar girls working on the side. Most I’ve met have then disappeared back to work and some try to come back to me once they’ve finished their shift. I agree that TF is more than enough if you can navigate or play it right.

- I wouldn’t stay in an Airbnb and would always use a hotel everywhere I go. Safery has been alluded to loads but on top of that there’s the usual benefits. Not only are the cleaners looking after me (if they haven’t seen me before 12 they get reception to ring to make sure I’m ok), I have access to everything from food, gym, pool, spa, in room massage and someone to ask questions to etc…. and it’s easy.

- Too much research can be a bad thing sometimes because you’re saturating yourself with questions, options and “what ifs?”. I’d say stop researching every option and just get to Thailand and grab the bull by the horns and “fuck it” so to speak.

Day 6 - I’ve definitely peaked and find myself on the downward trajectory. Absolutely fucked in fact but had a word with myself and dragged my arse out of bed in the early afternoon to go to the gym (cleaners had left a care package of water, towels, coffee and chocolate which was a decent surprise). Fate then rewarded me and a line message popped in! Shower and a brew later I found myself in the familiar spot by reception meeting a 22 yr old lass from TF for 2000B…. It’s the best app ever! Meet done (possibly up there with the best of them) I headed out for dinner and a few beers. I then died and was back in my room and in bed for just past midnight.

As a random point - the lass from Lao has been fairly persistent in organising follow meets but today sent a message say that she had money issues and could I help her out…. Instant block which was a shame because I had considered organising something!

Main point - day 6 backs up my other posts.

Jumble: Thanks for your report (and sorry if it got derailed a bit).  Having a bad morning is normal. One day, I really considered just going to the airport and flying home.  But did the same as you just said: had a word with myself and got back on the horse.  By the time I left 5 days later, I wanted to stay longer.

Any new bars or other venues to report?  Are you hanging out near Nana Plaza? In terms of girl with money problems, sometimes they think a story will help you choose to give them money.  But if I'm with a  girl and having a great time, and then she asks for B5000 for her sick buffalo, I might give it to her.  An extra £125?  Whatever.  My regular in the UK is £200/hr so this is chump change really.  I do what gives me the best time. Sorry not sorry if this screws up the market for the next punter.

Cheers lads for the advice, there's a lot of useful intel here for me. I'm still planning the trip yet so nothing is concrete - I'll be working remotely so i didn't want to travel too much around thailand as I've done that before and it wasn't fun. I much prefer a stable base somewhere, and then maybe do couple weeks in either another part of Thailand like pattaya or koh somui or even check out Bali. 

Tbh I never considered hotels until I read this forum, I was only looking at the airbnb's since they're super cheap in comparison to hotels - especially for longer stays of 30+days. That said I'm not ruling them out so I'm gonna keep searching!

I do Expedia flight and accommodation together.  £1400 for direct flights (EVA) and 7 days in a nice hotel.  I add £1000 so I can go Premium economy.
I spend £250 per day on bars, girls and food.  This includes waking up most days with a girlie in my bed.  So £3150 Econ, or £4150 premium economy.

Clearly for the daily spend you could spend half that or twice that.

I flew direct from Heathrow and it cost me £937 (with hold luggage) and absolutely no frills. Flew with Thai Airways and less their insane boarding process, it was ok enough.

Day 7 - started strong, went to the gym, had breakfast and then toured some temples using the metro (easy to navigate). Ached like fuck by early afternoon so got off the metro at Asok and walked up to Soi 23. Abundance of massage shops - can’t remember which i chose but it looked the least seedy (fancied a half decent massage) which was ultimately pointless because i was then walked back past all the others and into Golden Satang (I think). Decent enough massage for 90 mins that ended with a owotc (2000B).

Had a few pints on Soi 23 (craft recommended) and Soi 8 then fancied something else so tapped a spinner on TF. Here’s where the day took a turn - lass turned up (21) and was really nervous once in the room.
