Scam Alert 07456012760

I answered a call from 07456012760 earlier today.

The caller claimed to be called Fabio and said I had messed his escort about.

He said he would come to my house and visit my family.
I highly doubt he has any details to be able to do that.

I suspect texting to a Vivastreet ad seems a likely place where the scam originated from and probably a fake profile.

The purpose of this post is so this number is flagged up if someone else receive the same phone call.

I’ve had messages before claiming similar but this is the first phone call and most likely a burner phone number.

Nasty experience to add to the plethora of bogus sales and other scam communications we receive.

If the call was to your 'real' personal 'phone (rather than your punting 'phone) then it would have to be be a bollocks / scam call as there would presumably be no way your real phone number could be available to anybody in the world of punting. I guess that caller was lucky to hit on a person who does participate in the punting world, the caller might just as easily have hit on somebody's 85 year old grandmother, or worse their young children.

This neatly illustrates another good reason to have a punting phone which is of course turned off and put away when not in use for its designated purpose.

This is the bit I can’t remember but I bet the profile has probably gone.

I think there’s a few profiles that come and go fast probably geared up for this sort of thing.

I imagine this is more likely how they harvest the numbers.

The voice even felt like it was ai or pre recorded but I couldn’t decide.

Some SP providers are also being text asking the SP to provide screenshots of all messages and call lists.

The number has a WhatsApp created last month as a business account claiming to be vivastreet. It has the picture, address, vivastreet logo etc. I’m thinking one of 2 ways, they are trying to get all numbers for blackmail scam purposes or it’s someone’s wife who wants the see their partners number on the list as evidence 🤷🏻‍♂️
