Author Topic: Pension Planning - How much of a shagging budget  (Read 1514 times)

Offline RandomGuy99

It's the beginning of the year, so I'm doing some pension planning.

How long do most people keep shagging for in their old age?

I am thinking probably not much shagging after 75.

How many shags a month should I estimate for?

I am thinking 2 or 3

Love this!!!! The conversation with your financial advisor “well I need about £600 cash per month for incidentals”………

I put it down as Entertainment. Lots of trips to the cinema.

You also need to factor in that you will now have more free "leisure" time to actually go punting, i'd probably calculate your average per month and add 50% for the 1st 5 years scaling back to normal between 5-10 years and then 50% of current thereafter

I will go on way longer than when i can't shag anymore, as i love RO !

I'll have to add a few more columns to my shagging in retirement spreadsheet.

After 75, I think that 2 a month, should keep you happy enough.

1 is not enough, 2 is just right, and 3 is too many   :)  [The Goldilocks Theory]

Multiply your 2 per month per average fee paid   :)

I would attribute it to Green Fees - soon tot up acceptable figures for punting

I’m not at the pension age but looking at how stupid some of the prices are getting now with many now as high as £100 for 30mins it’s not going to be much longer that I’m priced out. I absolutely refuse to pay anymore than £80 for that time. Much of my money has been going on a good value massage place as they do everything I enjoy for an hour.

I, too, am currently planning my annual budget for the year. I’m my own financial adviser on these matters, so am checking my actual expenditure for the last year against what I had budgeted for, and the state of my savings and investments.

I set myself a budget of £3k for ‘entertainment,’ but have underspent for the last couple of years. At 78, I agree that 2 punts a month is about right, but I’ve only managed about 18 a year as other social and domestic activities seem to get in the way!.....

I will try to do better this year.  :) :)

I think 2 pints a month is a good amount. Gives you something to look forward to and you keep more money to yourself. I average 1 a week although due to circumstances atm I’m doing 2 a week.

Offline snaitram99

In retirement I currently manage about 3 per month, but that's almost entirely massage with extras. I've slightly overspent my budget of 4K, due to the increased price of extras at Thai shops. The Chinese girls are usually younger, prettier and cheaper but don't stay too long at one place. Some do return though, which can be nice when they remember me.  :rose:

Just occurred to me, surely this could be on topic, general discussion?

I agree, but only at Wetherspoons prices

What would you tell your 18 year old self?

Get a job with a final salary pension and only leave if they make you, no matter how boring it is!

Punting then will be taken care of.

Police, fire, banks, civil service etc.

Be a doctor. Or a dentist.

Plumber.  Oh sorry - 'Heating Engineer'.

budget = i think a max of 2% of your liquid net asset value per year

I’m still shivering thinking about that 2 pints a month remark.

Oh the very thought. 😱

Worse still that one about staying in a job you hate just cos the pension is ok.

Fuck that for a game of soldiers. 🤷🏼

I think a 2 shag strategy would work well with the option for a third and as I age I may not be up to a shag so I'll have to switch to massages.

Two lottery winners. What are the odds of that?

Offline Blackpool Rock

Are you a lottery winner?
It's going to depend on a whole range of things not just what you earn including but not exhaustive -

Your standard of living such as big house / smaller house, flash car(s) or normal car, luxury holidays or just 1 or 2 normal ones, various toys / gadgets like the latest Tech or owning a speedboat, eating / drinking out, gambling, whether you've got an expensive wife / divorce to look after, expensive kids even after 18 if you feel the need to pay their way through Uni etc

Offline RandomGuy99

I've done my calculations and I can retire early and go for a 6 shags per month strategy and then die early but with a smile on my face. I need to keep the ICE details on my phone up to date in case I die on the job.

No I stumbled across my ideal vocation 25 years ago when it was in it's infancy and it lead me down a path to designing and selling API software although I never did any programming as I've no idea how to do it.
