I've received a notification from Facebook that they've blocked my account for a few days because I (apparently) posted a photo on 29th May 2022 "That may show children in a sexual way, even if to express outrage".
They've removed any inappropriate photo they accuse me of having posted on 29th May 2022, so my response is ????.
On trying to make a complaint to FB about this I keep getting the message, "Sorry something went wrong. We're sorry but there's a technical problem with this feature. We're working to fix it."
Very offensive (and untrue) thing to be accused of and now they're preventing me from any form of redress.

The mods on Facebook are useless. I reported an arse hole who called me a nonce lover just because I like cycling. What has cycling got to do with something as despicable as grooming children? It was a totally unprovoked comment and I said nothing offensive towards him. I reported him for the comment. Facebook took ages to reply but when they did they said they wouldn't remove the comment. I can make the comment invisible to anyone who isn't in his friends list but that's not the point. I wanted the comment removing completely.

Facebook reels, you never know what going to appear, and because Facebook operates worldwide, content isn't solely from the UK.

So some of these reels, children around 2 years old and naked, so I would consider them to be child porn, and the reels originated from Pakistani

So I reported them to Facebook, and there response was, none of the reels violated there community rules, so the reels remained.   Cant really believe this is what Facebook thought, and the law is quite clear on the subject

That's one of the reasons we don't allow social media links on here, I've lost count of the number of times I've had to remove FB links because the idiot posting it hasn't bothered to check the pictures and there's been babies, children and families, none of which are suitable for a punting forum.

A couple of years ago my account got restricted for two weeks for posting about killing annoying flies. I can't believe this. I was wow pissed off. I didn't know Mark Zuckerberg is a fly lover. Or he has no backbone whatsoever.

I don’t know why you guys are using Facebook, specially if you’re a punter. WG will find out your real name and where you work.

I have a picture in my FB gallery that is now very controversial nowadays, a snap taken by another colleague at work. At the time, we thought it amusing black humour.
It is now impossible to remove, as every time I select it to try and delete it, FB suspends my account for 48 hours. It's been there for 20 years and the robot regularly alerts me as a photo in my media goes against their community standards, and only I can see it etc. I don't use FB much now, occasionally to wish people happy birthday or for weddings and more commonly funerals. I don't know why FB can't just delete it, as they vaped a forum I co modded a hidden private forum with 150K users without warning and all content lost.

UKP is as near to social media as I go. No tik tok, instagram, FB, snapchat or the next big platform. Can’t be trusted.

And can seriously screw you over at US Immigration these days.

Offline advent2016

The US immigration could probably cite "moral turpitude" as a reason. Depending on your job you can maybe get away with more.  A colleague visited last year and was asked what he'd be doing and he said "demonstrating a software product in his spare time" They turned him around as he had not applied for a temporary work visa.

If you don’t have a punting phone it will be on your friends recommended list on Facebook. Same with email as well, I remember guys complaining about it on here few years ago.

You never said anything about not having a punting phone before.

I would assert that most guys on here are using a punting phone.

It's not just Facebook, any social media could be a problem.

Anyone not using a punting phone is opening themselves up to all sorts of threats.
