I had a positive experience but some things could have been better but not enough to make it a neutral review.
External Link/Members OnlyI booked a sauna and scrub. Comms via WhatsApp were easy and quick. I arrived and there was paid parking on the road. Easy going so far. However I couldn’t find the entrance. Wandering around the back I had missed an anonymous black door and eventually found the front which was locked and had a “closed” sign. Guided by a phone call I went back and found the door being held open by a nice looking lady called “Sasa”. She was the only one there. I asked her to repeat her name a few times and Sasa was the best interpretation I could come up with.
The shop is clean, nicely decorated and well appointed. Shown into the spa area we agreed a sauna and scrub followed by a 30 minute massage and I paid £60 cash.
The spa area contained a small 2 person sauna, a large bath, a plastic covered massage table and a cross-trainer (!). Kit off I went and sat in the sauna. It was warm but not hot and Sasa pressed some buttons outside and it started to heat up. It was obviously on a 15 minute timer and I sat there watching the temperature rise but it only got close to proper sauna temperature right at the end when the pinger went ping and it shut down. I was warm but didn’t have a trace of sweat on my body. That was the first black mark.
While I was in the sauna Sasa was preparing outside filling the bath with hot water. So, now on to the plastic covered massage table, face down. A big ladle scooped hot water from the bath onto me. Very nice. I was then scrubbed with various sponges and cloths using different gear. I have no idea what it was but some of it felt like Swarfega and most of it was gritty. Flipped over I had the same treatment on my front before being rinsed off with hot water. All good so far.
Having a bit of a dry off we decamped to the main massage room. This was a large room with an office desk, large bath and a massage table. Warm enough for an office I was now feeling cold and lay on the massage table shivering. Second black mark.
The massage was OK, medium firm. Not the best but not the worst and on the flip the usual was offered. Can’t remember the HJ price but I went for the B2B which was another £60. In retrospect this was bad value for the last few minutes of a half hour massage. Sasa was, I guess, early forties. Short and not skinny, heavy natural tits and a chunky arse and thighs she ticked my boxes. The B2B was short and, being a first time, I didn’t explore too much. The HJ was professional and, considering I had another session two days previously, she managed the job which at my age was impressive.
In summary I would go back but make sure the sauna had been pre-heated and specify more than 15 minutes. I’d also comment about walking into a less than hot massage room when still damp from the scrub. I hope this helps.
