Hi everyone I was just wondering is you pros could shed some light, basically I see everyone opting to get OWO but does everyone not worry about herpes? Bc I’ve been seeing online it can be transmitted even though there’s 0 signs from the lady. Anyways just asking bc I’ve got an appointment on Friday with an unbelievable tart and I’d like owo from her but don’t want to risk a lifetime subscription to the herp.
Sorry if it’s a stupid question I’m not too experienced in punting and just wanted to be sure

Having sex involves risks External Link/Members Only

Some risks can be mitigated using condoms.

You have to decide which risks you are happy to accept.

Unless they've got a visible coldsore then you should be protected from herpes, for the most part.

In terms of other stuff, there's always a risk. But again, they would likely be symptomatic with oral gonorrhoea or chlamydia.

I've been punting for 12 years and do OWO every time, including with some absolute street skanks early on in my punting career. Not had an STI yet

You've been here nearly 7 years mate and you use the site often enough to have seen loads of threads about this.

Seeing any escort may pose a risk of catching something. I see about 80 escorts over a 30 year period and done OWO with
most of them but luckily never caught anything. If your really that worried go for covered oral.

Are you ever just pleasant? So unnecessary. Just move along if you aren’t able to help.

There was nothing wrong with how he asked, even though it has been covered before as Davie mentioned, so searching for other threads would help him.

@OP

Yes there’s a risk but going from the experience of this collective punting group, it would seem the risk is fairly low. Many of us do it and haven’t had a problem as yet, but that could change next week.

RO is probably more risky long term considering the chance of throat cancer. I still can’t stop myself from going down on a young hottie, so I’ll have to cross that bridge if or when it happens.

Good luck.

Reason I asked was because the nhs website and many others said there’s still a risk without any visible symptoms so I wanted to ask a large group with experience to draw from their own experiences, thankyou for those who answered me kindly and seriously

Personally, I go covered all rhe way (though I would love to jizz into the gob of a working girl). Similarly, I dont lick gash or rim, as I couldn't in good conscience then kiss my partner on the mouth or kids on the cheek without wondering if I was gonna give them the clap. Nosirree.

I think VD is a bit taboo on this site tbh. Perhaps we need a clap avoidance thread

Picking on a relatively new member who has a very reasonable concern is short sighted. How does it serve you if people stop reviewing because they don't appreciate the tone? Think it through fella, kindness is a lot more useful, or just say nothing and read the next post.

As with everything in life- everything has risks, you need to weigh the pros and cons of OWO and pick the risks that you want and avoid the risks you don't want. Some people can get an STD from OWO once and some people never get STD from OWO so life is about picking the risks you're comfortable with and living with the consequences of whichever decisions you make.

Noted and thought would get tested same as I do have uncovered BJs n me and also giving oral occassionally to the female SP. Thought best to get tested to be sure. Not having any symptoms but guess best to know for sure.

Had a look at there's no walk in clinics in London aside from private ones. Is that right ?

A private one nearby has a plethora of test as follows. Any views on which test is appropriate as not sure HIV is relevant for my case ?

  • Basic Pair STI - Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea
  • Basic Pair Plus STI - Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Trichomonas vaginalis DNA PCR, Mycoplasma genitalium DNA PCR
  • Enhanced (From 45 days) STI - Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, HIV 4th Gen. (45 Day Test), Syphilis antibody, Hepatitis B Surface Antigen, Hepatitis C Antibody, Trichomonas vaginalis DNA PCR, Mycoplasma genitalium DNA PCR
  • HIV 4th Generation STI
  • HIV-I RNA PCR (10 Day Test)
  • Plus (From 45 days) STI - Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, HIV 4th Gen. (45 Day Test), Syphilis antibody, Hepatitis B Surface Antigen, Hepatitis C Antibody
  • Routine (From 14 days) STI - Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, HIV-I RNA PCR (10 Day Test), Syphilis antibody
  • Routine (From 45 days) STI - Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, HIV 4th Gen. (45 Day Test), Syphilis antibody

Thanks

My old address wasnt supported so I used postcode finder to puck one that was. No-one checks that it’s actually your address. You just have to remember it if they ever do you a prescription or worst case book a new appointment somewhere else if you’re ever diagnosed

Offline webpunter

I searched for SHL.UK & in error clicked on the wrong link & found
External Link/Members Only
Seems a lot easier than SHL & results at home in 15 mins
Not expensive when comparing to how much wedged up on our fave sport

I know that numerous threads on STDs
Without me searching forever any ideas as to which are asymptomatic ?
Reason for asking the question is that no signs of any infections past / present
Have had quite a bit of OWO with different SPs / massage burds & repeat visits
A few pussy slides again nowt as a result

I'm thinking its probably a good idea to have a test consider along the lines of a car MOT
Chlamydia & Gonorrhoea seem to be the most common infections
Dont need HIV as no going commando & zip chance of it with pussy slides

The other route i'm thinking is to have a clearout with some antibiotics instead of a test
My private doctor - who is a right laarf - prescribed
2 * azithromycin 500mg
1 * ciprofloxacin 500mg
He said it would get rid of most things

Any intel would be much appreciated & TIA

I’m not an expert so can’t answer much, but I believe HPV is a risk. Less of an issue for men but we can pass it onto women and it’s a lot more serious for them.

A test every few months is pretty sensible.

Will look into this
Pretty sure my private doc gave me a Hep B / HPV jab
Will check if it needs renewing
This is what UKP is all about

Think one of the issues if you still getting anything from wife girlfriend if have one you get a wg to give you owc, 4 weeks later Mrs gives you some usage. You could well be stuffed so abstain until you get tested. However I am sure 90% of ukp don’t get anything more than a kiss on cheek from mrs

Option to have SHL send by post os not an option unfortunately.

You can also pick up a kit at one of their clinics if that is any better.
If you have symptoms or physical concerns you can turn up to the walk in clinics
