Author Topic: Punting after Surgery  (Read 1282 times)

I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation as me. I recently had surgery that’s left me with a big scar that is covered by a dressing and a stoma for life. I’m worried to go punting now or for a massage as I’m scared that I’ll be refused service with my disabilities now. Anyone else have any experience of punting with disabilities like mine?

It's natural to be nervous, but you'll be ok getting service.

This topic has been discussed before as there are others on here with stomas. Hopefully, they'll share their experiences with you.

Some SPs have "Disabilities" on their likes list.

I've also found a few SPs who are have been nurses or carers, so they have experience of operations and people recovering from them including some of the mental issues that sometimes go along with the operation such as anxiety, fear of rejection, nerves, etc.

I think these days there's much more awareness of stomas, so it shouldn't be an issue.

Hopefully, you'll be back on your feet and back in the seat soon.

Thanks for all the help and support, it’s really appreciated!  :)

When I go to see a lady for the first time I explain my condition when I arrive, in most cases I think it actually improves the meeting as they seem to want to try harder to give me a good time.

Good luck.

I had the same problem ,luckily I had the reversal
I always let the girl know beforehand and everyone was ok
I kept a tee shirt on
most girls thanked me for being honest
you should be ok
good look

I was just going to say. Maybe keep a t-shirt on if it helps.

Jeez…….. with a face like mine I wear a balaclava back to front.
Most SP’s I’ve seen appreciate it. 😂
