As one of the longstanding, regular, prolific and reliable contributors to the Preston and North West scene, if Scutty tells you that "nothing has changed re the parlour shops", you may fairly depend upon it that this is indeed likely the case. If he adds useful information about non-parlour venues in the same area, it seems only good manners to graciously acknowledge his experienced observations as a bonus.
As others have suggested, the response from other members taking time out of their day to add here on your thread, and to your benefit, will be at least partly informed by your own positive contributions here and elsewhere.
