I agree with the general jist that today is nothing like ten years ago.

I have a saved search in AW that I made in about 2018 cos I’m a nosey fucker. At that time the total wgs offering sex (excluding bareback) was about 19k. Now it’s down to about 14k. So we’re down about 25% from the peak.

The Brazilians probably only come over here because they don't realise across the pond how bad it's got in this country. The Poles and English birds can probably do other things. The Roms linger on but they're more used to drudgery. And the Asians are often trafficked or just in it to make some cash then get out, probably hating every second they're in this country.

How can one ever know anything?  However, the Thais are usually quite open about their circumstances and may well stay friendly with former customers when they return to Thailand.  They take out loans and will often use a kind of agency to secure them places to live/work from whilst in the UK.  The loans aren't small but once they have paid them off they are in the clear and everything they make is their own.  Some of them will start to work completely independently at that point having got to know the country. 

I am not sure if the same can be said of the Chinese.  There have been raids at one or two places in Nottingham ( might be the same people at different locations ) and this might be simply to do with how they run the place.  Technically, anywhere with more than one girl working there can be classed as a brothel.  The massage places around the country probably have a better handle on what to do to keep up appearances but I am speculating at this point. Either way, with the raids having happened, it does raise more of a concern about whether or not the girls have been trafficked or not.

All you can do is stack the odds in your favour, a big clue are the ones who stay put rather than tour. Some are quite explicit about their indépendant status, many clearly state they work alone. Also UKP reviews, you can usually get a good idea from these, other punters experiences are great grist for the mill.

Bottom line, no guaratees but you can stack the odds if you research well.

Obviously he's not saying that at all. The point is simple: we never know anything for sure. We have to use personal judgement based on intuition and any available evidence.

I'm not being difficult here but I don't understand - what difference would it make if someone is working from private premises rather than an parlour, or if they say they are here through an agency and saving for grandma's operation, or whether other punters think they are legit or, excuse me for sounding skeptical, intuition? We know trafficking is common and that pimps are ruthless. Literally, the only satisfactory due diligence I can think of is asking to see the woman's passport and bank balance - so you know they are not being kept somewhere against their will. If you get it wrong, it's rape.
