I could be, I could not be.
It is irrelevant to the point I am making.
Parents buy them the electronics which they later use to view porn. Surely it is the parent fought
It is not rocket science.
Do you really think it would be easy to not buy your child a mobile phone when around 90% plus of children over 11 have one?
So I would guess you are not a parent with experience of peer pressure

I have faced many challenges in my life, be it professionally or personally, but parenting is IMO way up close to the top of the list.
My first was born when I was in my late twenties and by then I had formed the opinion that the badly behaved children I had encountered (and there were a lot) must be that way due to poor parenting.
This may of course be a factor and there are undoubtedly bad parents, but most are just trying their best with a task which is complex, constantly changes over the months and years and while at the same time trying to deal with everything else life throws at them.
Just when you think you have mastered it, puberty strikes and you enter a whole different arena. Often these days this huge task is faced by just one parent making matters worse.
It annoys me when people who have little or no experience of modern parenting, assume those who do are responsible for not effectively restricting their children from all the harms they face in their lives. Most parents do their best.
The internet and mobile communications are at the heart of the problem. Social Media has been weaponised. Porn has proliferated.
What should have given us mostly positives has been allowed to grow into something uncontrollable and harmful. These huge negative consequences do not just apply to children.
That does not mean I want a nanny state to intervene, both in principle and because it will not work. But if you think this can be remedied by parents strictly controlling their children you are mistaken
