Phuket, Pattaya and Bangkok - For Beginners

Intro
In Sep 25 I spent 3 weeks passing through Phuket (Pa Tong), Pattaya and Bangkok.  I used UK Punting plus two other sites as sources of intelligence.  I gained most benefit from the threads on this site - as I know it's largely UK punters and I like to think we share a common depravity.  I have been to Thailand before, 15 years ago with a girlfriend.  This was a very different experience!  Hopefully I've provided enough info to locate the places on Google maps.  Although I only took girls back a few times, there was no issues and no ID asked for at the hotels. 

Context
I'm a late 30s white British male.  I'm not into anal or anything too weird.  My things are facials, and making videos if the girl agrees.  Although I have names for all the girls, I've not included the names of those that are on video.  Although I know it's unlikely, I wouldn’t want them to get in trouble as a result of this review.  I massively overpaid numerous times in order to get the punts on video.  I have very high standards, and would only go with girls I rate highly.         

Thai Girls
I was amazed how much they vary.  Dark skinned, light skinned.  Eyes.  Makeup.  Shape.  Many aspire to have white skin, which suited me as the darker skinned ones appealed most.  There is something for everyone.

Weather
I read loads about the weather in Sep being bad.  Take no notice.  I'd say 50% of the days were completely dry.  On the days it did rain, it was once, and usually lasted 5 mins to an hour.  There was one day where it rained for about 5 hours straight and yes the roads flooded.

Safety
I felt safe everywhere I went.  Even walking through forests at night on my own.

Comms
Airalo is brilliant.  Get the app and its a few quid for an e-sim with data.  I used WhatsApp 95% of the time with working girls. 

Safe Sex
I work in healthcare, and here's my tips:
1. Take DoxyPEP.  If you're shagging daily, it basically means 2 tablets every 3rd day.  Really common antibiotic within minimal side effects that studies show will help prevent chlamydia and syphilis.  You can order it online by saying you need it as an antimalarial and it's a few pence per tablet.  See here for more: External Link/Members Only.
2. I always used condoms for sex, but not for BJs apart from on my two visits to soapies where BJs are generally with condom.  I take a piss straight after, and carry alcohol wipes and alcohol gel.
3. Taking your own condoms is a good idea.  One girl in a massage place told me she bought her condoms from TikTok.
4. Thai understanding of STIs is poor.  Some get tested, some don't.  The things they test for is not the same as the UK, and the frequency varies wildly.  Presume they're not tested.

Indians
Random, but I read lots of negative comments about Indian men in Thailand.  I dismissed it as racism.  However, some of it turned out to be true.  They hunt in packs and block the pavements.  Some of them stank.  I saw a few literally standing next to girls on Beach Road filming them, and a couple I heard haggling over 23p.  Clearly this was not all of them, but I can see why some girls wont go with them. 

Civvies
All of this was mixed in with civvies I picked up from shops, restaurants and in the street etc.  EVERY time I asked for a number I got it.  2 favourites - a girl working at a bakery in a mall.  19 and at university.  Balls deep that night.  Another student I met in the street and we hung out over many days.  Asking for numbers became a game.  However, I did switch to asking for Instagram instead - you can message on there and have a good look in advance.  It also avoids issues with Line or WhatsApp.         

Ok, here we go in chronological order...

PHUKET (PA TONG)

1. Benz Massage.  I enjoyed walking all over Pa Tong checking out the girls sitting outside the massage places.  Spotted a stunner outside this place, which is located between Bangla Road and Christin Massage, on the same side as Christin Massage.  This was my first Thai punt, and she took me upstairs to a long room with cubicles and mattresses on the floor.  Only one other cubicle was in use.  Unusually, the cubicles had flimsy wooden doors rather than a curtain.  I lay down and then realised in the cubicle next to ours, some poor girl was getting pounded to within an inch of her life.  This set the scene nicely.  Went for BJ, facial and video.
1 hour massage: 400 baht (£9)
Extras: 6000 baht (£137) - BJ, facial, video

2. Christin Massage.  Popped in the previous day to scope the place out and nothing appealed at the time.  Same friendly bloke as the previous day.  She was pretty amenable to what I wanted.  You get 90 minutes, which is a set routine of shower, B2B massage on an inflatable lilo, into the bath, and then onto the bed (about 25 mins had passed by this point).  She was 21 and through conversation she said she had a young kid.  Covered BJ and numerous positions.
90 min session with covered BJ and sex: 3600 baht (£82)

3. Nuru Massage.  Some reviews of this place led me on a long walk here.  It's on Nanai Road.  An Asian bloke was already in there seeing the line-up of around 15 girls.  Didn’t see anything I wanted, so it was a good chance to say I'll come back later and I walked.  Didn’t bother going back.

4. Massage place next to Blue Beach Cafe.  Back on patrol looking for beauties outside the many massage places.  Found one amongst a group sitting outside the passageway at the side of Blue Beach Cafe.  26 and reckoned she was a former Miss Grand Thailand winner.  Taken upstairs to a room of curtained cubicles and we were the only people up there.  Pretty impressive BJ and took the whole length which is unusual.  She did try and stick a finger up my ass which led to a few days discomfort - be warned! 
1 hour massage: 500 baht (£11)
Extras: 4500 baht (£103) - BJ, facial, video   

5. Thai Friendly 1.  Agreed to meet a personal trainer at Starbucks in the mall.  She as new to TF and wasn’t sure she wanted to lower herself to being a freelancer, hence meeting like this.  She came straight from the gym in a tiny vest and hot pants.  She had an incredible body and everyone was having a good look!  I bought her a drink, and she bought us 4 cakes to share!  After a chat she was up for going to my hotel, but I was tired and we agreed to meet at midday the next day.  Well midday went and passed.  About 2pm she messaged to say she was at the gym and would come round after.  With so many other options, I told her not to worry about it and maybe I'll see her another day.  I didn’t.   

PATTAYA

6. Windmill 2.  First time at a gogo bar and I loved it!  There were many beautiful girls to chose from.  Was all very hands on with some finger blasting thrown in for good measure.  I did some laps with my drink much to the annoyance of the serving staff.  I picked a new girl who was a little nervous but great to chat to.  I took her ST (2 hours) and we got a taxi to my hotel.  Had a very long session and she was great fun. 
Drinks: 500 baht (£11)
Bar fine: 1500 baht (£34)
Girl: 3000 baht (£68)

7. AG Massage.  Back on the streets looking at the girls outside the massage places.  Found a nice 21 year old at this place on Soi Buakhao.  Curtained cubicle on the ground floor and we were the only people in there.  I was offered a shower which was unusual for these places. 
1 hour massage: 500 baht (£11)
Extras: 2500 baht (£57) - BJ, facial and video

8. Honey 2.  Another soapy fishbowl place.  Bought a drink and took my time looking.  The prices differ from 3000 baht to 6000 baht.  Perhaps 50 girls altogether, in 5 categories.  The most expensive were behind me.  Same routine as the other soapy.  Very pretty girl, but boring and just wanted me to cum.  Agreed video for 2000 baht, but she changed her mind afterwards so I deleted it and she gave me the money back. 
90 min session with covered BJ and sex: 5300 baht (£121) 

9. XS.  Another gogo.  Girls in here were even better than Windmill 2, but its not as filthy.  Picked a girl and it turned out she was 28 and had a 10 year old kid!  She suggested a nearby hotel so we went there.  Again, just wanted me to cum. 
Drinks: 1200 baht (£27) - had to buy her 3 drinks before she could leave
Bar fine: 1500 baht (£34)

10. Sharks.  Another gogo, and the quality of girls just keep getting better!  This girl had a much better attitude.  25 years old.

11.  Beach Road.  Did a lot of walking up and down here.  Each night there’s a girl every couple of metres.  Many were old and rough.  A couple were ok but I didn’t partake. 

BANGKOK

12. Suwon Spa.  Brilliant place.  Really luxury onsen, spotlessly clean and well maintained.  You can spend as long as you want in the onsen (2 pools, sauna, steam room).  You also get a 1 hour Thai massage from a decent therapist.  Plus 60 minutes of shagging with a different girl!  You chose this girl on an iPad.  I chose Ella, 25 years old.  She was great and eager to please.  Real value for money.

13. Wonder Massage.  Another great place!  3 girls, chosen from a line-up or in advance via images on an iPad or via message, for 2 hours with 3 shots in the "panorama room".  The room was on the roof with lots of natural light, a big bed and jacuzzi.  All 3 girls were very good, all 3 did rimming included and 2 did CIM.  The management make it clear who does what.  I chose Desi, Didi and Barbie.  3 great girls!

14. Cafe Thermae.  Would loved more visits here.  Lots of very attractive girls.  I did 1 lap and then choose - 2 girls in jeans and t shirts, with face masks.  1 was experienced, and she was looking after the other who was new.  Great time.

15. Sukhumvit Road.  100+ girls lining this street.  Some looked ok, but again, too much on offer already.  Quality was much better here than on Beach Road in Pattaya.

Gogo prices are about right and girls getting filmed is always going to be somewhat pricey.

Going rate is still mostly 1500 on TF but noticed a lot of young hot ones want 2.5-3k and even if you agree it's hard to actually meet them.

I think it just depends on the calibre of girl you want. I set the bar very high for myself over here and unfortunately for the punter the good looking ones and the establishments they work at have cottoned on that the ceiling is much higher than they were charging pre pandemic. Of course YMMV and beauty is in the eye of the beholder etc.

Good point.  I only took 1 working girl back, the rest were civvies.  All my valuables were in the safe, and the civvies I felt comfortable with.  The hotels don't seem to care, so worth having them check in future!

Bangkok mainly, 1 in Pattaya and 1 in Phuket.  I spent 4 days with one - and bought her a bag on the last day.  We were in one of the many incredible malls and she wanted to look at bags (and dropped some hints).  She walked past all the top brand stores to one I'd never heard of and fell in love with a bag.  Cost me £40!

No, I hadn’t booked it.  I didn’t even know it was an option - the second gogo girl suggested it.  Its 500 baht for 2 hours.  The 3rd gogo girl also suggested it. Called Green View Residence. I took a photo of the sign in case I was never seen again!  Much rather destroy their room than take them back to my 5 star.  Plus it meant the taxi travel time didn’t eat into the 2 hours.

I only started going to Pattaya this year and have been three times. I am by no means an expert but I can say it is very safe and be flexible as things that are beyond your control change frequently.
As for ladyboys, the individual, the mamasan will tell you if asked. Also when you check in your guests ID at hotel reception the hotel staff will mention it.
Do make a list, but be prepared to change things at short notice, a bit like having a plan B, C etc in the UK. I was an avid planner but quickly realized it doesn't work in pattaya.
You may see feedback reviews on other forums to help you select the right duo for a threesome. Often in a bar or GC, the lady when working you for a drink will ask you to buy one for her friend/ "sister" if things progress well and she suits your preference then it may be an opportunity to work the threesome option on another evening. Maybe wise to ST at least one or both separately before jumping in to a threesome

- don't take any one persons comments alone, seek a number of different guys' views, We all have so different ideas of what is "good" or "attractive" or "good VFM" etc
- also even if somewhere is good on one day, it does mean it will be the next day. I have returned to bars and clubs and been very disaapointed as the lovely ladies i saw before are not therre or with other guys and/or  the vibe is very different.
- Pilgrim gave some good advice - have ideas of what you want to do but don't over plan as things can change and sometimes its good to "go with the flow"
- In Bangkok, Sukhumvit Road area (between Nana and soi cowboy) is ideally where you want to be to be close to "rge action". In Phuket its Patong (Patong beach and Bangla Road area) and in Pattaya - pretty much anywhere but central between Second road (Sai Song Road) and beach road is best imo.

also bear in mind that Pattaya is only a 2 hour taxi ride from Bangkok so you can go for a few days no probs and Phuket is and hour and a bit flight away (so best part of half a day with taxi to and from the airports and airport waits etc. But i have certainly done all 3 in a 2 week holiday.

Regards to planning, what I meant was a decent list of the hot spots: recommend places, even tho I will definitely be going with the flow, I don't have that much time and need a few locations as a backup.

I do definitely want to do the soapy spas where you pic girls from a laptop. They seem a bit more "high" end for during the day. Night time... phew I'm going to be dipping in and out of as many bars as possible to get a good flavour of what's on the menu.

I'm not trying to be lazy, as Iv spent lots of time on this forum collating a list but if anyone wants to drop a decent list that would be much appreciated! Will defo provide a detailed review on my return!

Still inexpensive by UK prices.

There is no point in me starting a new thread, but I had a 1 night stopover in Bangkok earlier this month. I ended up going to Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza.
Both areas were extremely quiet. I went to all of the main gogo bars (Crazy house, Butterflies, Billboards, and Baccarra) and you could sit anywhere you like. The girls outnumbered the punters comfortably.
Granted it was a Tuesday night, but previously these places have been rammmed 7 nights a week!

Talent wise there wasn't much on offer. Most girls were either overweight, or had boob jobs which looked ridiculous.
In Baccarra a girl recognised me who I punted a couple of years ago. I didn't recognise her at first, as she had a new hair colour. She is mid 20s, petite, slim and natural. She was by far the best looking girl I saw all night. (Maybe I'm bias).

Sukhumvit Soi 33 has half a dozen Soapy/Nuru establishments.

I had a great hour in Hunny Bunny where I picked Mimi from line up of 4 and found that selection difficult enough.

As I was leaving and heading back to Sukhumvit Road I clocked a much bigger lineup in one of the other establishments.

I returned the following day for an even better 90 mins at 666 Class with Jisu, although I don’t think this was the place I’d seen the lineup the night before.

Am I missing something very basic? I would have assumed that as soon as she is 18+, one is in the clear. Are the cited 20yo meant to give some safety margin? Or are laws considering what is underage different in Thailand ?

I had a similar issue experience . The hotel in patts had a notice at reception saying no under 20’s, and a rule on numbers! First girl was free to stay and 300-500 bt per additional persons @ LK residence near to LK Metro.
So this did stop me bring back the hot little 19 year old girl  I didn’t want to find I had a big problem with Thai police

Easiest short time  with Thermae is the hotel upstairs. It is also seen as a quicker turn around place so is a negotiating tactic. But not so good if you want a lengthy girl friend experience over a couple of hours  Thai friendly is also good if you have the time and are prepared to have a whatsapp interview. Unless they say otherwise they are likley to be available for st in Bangkok and almost all in Pattaya are st ladies. Smooci has a few good girls but many whose photos are a travesty. Those with videos are usually more accurate. Smooci are more used to coming to reasonable hotels. Last one I had was a solid 9. Reviews on Smooci are always a bit dodgy unless they are slightly critical.  Convenience! The internet helps with reviews of clubs etc esp ISG.  All depends on what you like and how much you are prepared to pay! In Pattaya if you just want a short time, picking out one of the thousand girls on soi 6 and taking her upstairs is one of the easiest and cheapest. Not all will do that so ask up front before you waste money on a drink. In Pattaya, gents clubs are a great experience. Club Fate is a good place to start. Girls usually sitting outside so see if you like one and take her in.. And if not then back into Soi Boomerang and Heavens Above - to my mind the best club in the whole of Pattaya. Have fun exploring.

I have finally booked my SEA tour, I am doing Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila and back to Bangkok. I will report back as I go. I have lots of things planned in all locations action and tourist stuff. 
When I get to Bangkok I will be staying on soi 15, in between Nana and soi cowboy, very close to Therme. I would like to try and find a Thia lady who speaks very good English, to have drinks, dinner and explore with etc. If this lady didn’t want to come back to my hotel, I have Thereme down the road as a backup. I have had zero success on FT looking for someone with good English. Can anyone suggest where else I can look?
I am not a big drinker and I don’t really want to spend a lot of time in loud bars (unless I am hunting a FL or bar girl). Can anyone suggest any quitter bars, high end bars or cool rooftop bars, near my hotel? I had the same issue as found girls in Nana Plaza / Sois in Pattaya a little bit too obvious and no actual interest in you just your wallet. This put me off that route too.

Im not stupid and know all girls there are looking for a payday but found girls from Tinder much more like a GFE type experience and eager to please. Girls in bars and gogos just want to give minimum effort for maximum money due to number of men that are intersted in them (in my experience and opinion of course!)

Maybe try matching a girl on Tinder, moving discussion regarding time and payment to WhatsApp or Line and get her around to your hotel/ apartment. If youve got cans of beer/ pre mixed cocktails might help make it feel less mechanical if you have a drink together first then suggesting a shower together

There are a few beer bars there that you can play pool for free with the staff

On your way back you can pick a girl along that street and go short time her out of the hotels there

Thermae has pretty girls but is well known for this, this is why I dont go to Bangkok now and just head to Pattaya. Freelancres on the streets is probably your best alternative. There are some outside Stumble Inn on Soi 4 as well as Sukhumvit.

Leedsgent - maybe its the time of year but i have not experienced your issues in Bangkok / Sukhumvit. There are loads of FL's around Sukhumvit road and you can assess their level of english easily. As others have said try bars - have a drink with them or a game of pool etc.

Another thought and its recently been mentioned on another thialand thread is money and haggling. do you haggle hard? if so you might get a yes but less good service because they want / need to get back out there to earn more. I usually don't haggle to hard and often offer a bonus (ie 500) at my discretion if they are good and if i enjoy it! 500 is only about £12 and can sometimes make a big difference!

Thank you for all of the suggestions. I don’t haggle at all. I have found and meet a lovely Indonesian lady off tinder. She was a lot of fun and spoke very good English. Which bodes well as I am going to Jakarta in 2 days, for New Year’s Eve. I will do a full report on my time in Bangkok when I get chance. I think that it might be partly due to time of year and partly plain bad luck.

I actually hangled it down from 5000 baht. She looks hot, but rates sound high compared to what I here others pay here. Yes 4500 for ST with a FL is high even in Bangkok! More typical is 2-3k - possibly 3500 if she is young and really hot! 5000 is really more LT ( overnight) rates which typically are 4500-6500 in Bangkok!

In Pattaya FL rates are more typically a little lower at 1800-2500 ST and 3500 - 5000 LT!

Getting a girl from a bar or club is often more as you usually have a bar-fine to pay as well! Thanks for the advice. Tbh she looks young and very hot (athletic curvy) so tbh it's cheap compared to what I'd pay in the UK. And that's a good attitude to have. If I have fun and she's a willing performer it's money well spent. No point paying a price she'll be resentful and have a bad attitude as a result

I know I'm a Cheap Charlie on my four week break , no bar fines , sometimes prowl the night clubs on walking street  , if I find a prospect in a bar buy them a couple of lady drinks & exchange contact info to arrange at a later time / day , sometimes success sometimes not , of course it depends the quality & age of the lady , I use the same tactic with the girls in the foot massage places give them a decent tip & exchange numbers . I only ever do ST normally between 1k - 2k baht never more , as for dating apps such as TF always ask for a " real time video call " the photos are heavily photo shopped , never give them your room number arrange to meet in front of your hotel with 100baht note at the ready if they are nothing like their photos ( sometimes they will send round their fat mate to the hotel lol ) .

Photos rarely tell the truth. Whatsapp video and/or meet outside or in hotel lobby. Always be prepared to walk. Sometimes 2000 girls can be great. have had a few in house on Soi 6. On Thai Friendly you tend to get what you pay for. And if the quote is low be cautious. I am of advancing years and go for quality not quantity. And if I do not like what I see she goes with a few bhat unless its a real scam. And if she comes to your hotel room make sure everything of any value is locked in the safe or in your case. And cash in discarded trousers is particularly vulnerable. Usually a few notes not all! Have been caught once only and have taken care since. Not all are like this but still - beware.

Great thread. I'm thinking of heading to bkk. I was there previously for one night on a layover and went to a couple of bars on soi cowboy but I couldn't see how it worked. I bought a drink for a couple of girls but nothing seemed to happen. Any advice how it works in those places. Probably I'm just being thick and overthinking
