Rent is becoming insane in Inner London, will push many people into Outer and eventually the Fringe of London to get some sort of value.

From a property POV there's not that many places left in London that aren't near to good transport links and thus command higher rents.  Even Abbey Wood and Southall have gone up by 1/3 since covid thanks to the Liz Line.

When I was a lad no fucker wanted to live in Sarf London.  Then Jubilee Line and DLR happened.

Yep. It is a genuine shame. We should follow the lead of the Japanese here and grant planning permission on mass when new rail lines and stations are opened. There is clearly a lot of demand, and it might keep rents a bit more steady with better supply!

Jessica is pretty good at what she does, but the fact she lives in awkward location means I can't return as often as I'd like  so lets decrease central london rent purely for my benefit
