Author Topic: Are Pimps always a bad thing  (Read 694 times)

In general Pimps are regarded as low life, but do they or could they serve a purpose, as some girls are at times pretty clueless and the direction and guidance a Pimp could provide may help them in the long run?

Of course for sorted / balanced minded girls there is no need, but when you hear of some of the scrapes pro$$ies get themselves in you wonder if a Pimp guiding them may be a good thing for them ?

Pimp/Madames have there uses in my opinion.

I once got pick-pocketed by a street girl in Prague while she was trying to drum up some business with me and my mates.  She wasn't a very good thief though and felt her taking my wallet out my pocket.  I made a scene and her pimp appeared from the shadows, went berzerk at her, gave her a back-hander over the chops and handed my back my wallet.  In that experience, the Pimp came in pretty handy for me as he then ushered us into an excellent titty bar, with some full contact lap dances!

That one example is my only real experience with a pimp, but from what I have heard they aren't exactly pillars of the community with high moral fibre.

Define pimp?

There is no need, anyone here who doesn;t know what a pimp is has probably found the site by accident whilst looking for a plant site like UK Potting of something like that  :sarcastic:

That sounds like a positive experience, the only question I would ask was, was it her pimp who slapped her ?  :D

That's a positive experience

It sure was, I almost felt bad about the back hand smash to the girls cheek.... I got over it pretty quickly when he got us free entry and tokens for a couple of drinks at the titty bar  :drinks:

And did you find a good punt? :)

Define pimp?

Not that easy.
Different people would give different definitions.
I suppose the stereotype would be the black guy wearing lots of gold and driving a BMW ------- but what about agency owners who take a third of the girls earnings.   :( :(

In that situation I would have said thanks but no thanks. I would say you were extremely lucky.

He could have led you off to a back ally and attacked or just took all your possessions - Passport, wallet, watch etc

I ticked has their uses but it really depends on how you define pimp.

The word pimp suggests a mindless thug who gets violent at the drop of a hat. Minder suggests someone who attacks punters at the drop of a hat.

But someone in the vein of pimp can be helpful. I have just read the other thread - think everyone knows which one - and I was flabbergasted. And I don't even think that is as strong a word to how I felt reading it. I think this person needs someone supportive like a pimp character in their life to sort it out a bit.

Most madams do the same job as many pimps, just a gender difference. Like used car salesmen, they can be good or bad.

Many women who are too clueless or can't be bothered to run their own affairs properly will in effect choose to employ an agency or other intermediary, even at 40%, just to take care of marketing, appointments, venues and so on. The law doesn't like that voluntary arrangement between competent adults so tries to criminalise it, or associate it with coercion and other activities involving abuse and non-voluntary arrangements. A 'pimp' is culturally associated with the less desirable examples of prostitution, where the prostitute is literally (rather than legalistically) 'controlled.' Most of that culture comes from that bastion or prurience, the United Fucking States of Fucking America.

Pimps who use the threat of violence to 'run' or 'traffic' street girls (as depicted in tv and movies) are not doing the image of this industry any favours.  On the other hand if a working girl links up with a supportive and businesslike person who can provide her with opportunities, then this is all to the good.  I'm sure many girls benefit from associations such as this, as do punters.  A responsible minded agent or manager may be just what some escorts need   :)
