Can't say I've given it much thought really, I avoid those openly offering bb and unprotected sex irrespective of whether they really know what is being offered. It stands to reason though that any prossie going bareback with punters is bound to contract a range of infections, HIV included.
I also assume that all prossies have barebacked at some point and don't believe it when they make a big point of saying they don't go bareback on their profiles. I take the risks I'm willing to take based on the prossie and how I feel.
No doubt there is a market for bareback out there and there are enough prossies willing to do it. It's difficult to judge how many because all these Romanian profiles have zero fb due to it being seen as the darker side of punting shrouded in more secrecy than usual.
I've been told by a few prossies that they are asked about bareback quite often, seems that there is an added sense of achievement amongst some punters when they get a non-barebacker to go uncovered. One reckoned she'd been offered a grand - but didn't explicitly say she'd said no, so work the answer out.
Another, earlier this year, who categorically stated on her profile that any mention of bareback would result in blocking etc, asked me if I was local to the area, then followed that by asking where she could get the morning after pill
