Either way didnt sound very convincing on the phone and something just seemed dodgy about the whole convo

I went to see her once.  Parked up, let her know I'd arrived and silence.  Gave it 10mins then fucked off to Sara in Derby instead.  5 mins later she's texting to apologise and ask me to go back.  I didn't bother again.

Can't say if it's genuine, but at the time I didn't have any reason to think it was a scam as such.
