Just been wondering if things are a changing? I have been rebuffed on 3 occasions recently by SPs whom I had thought I had excellent punts with. You’ve done something dodgy or been accused of doing something dodgy.

5 minutes after a confirmed appointment they want to cancel. Maybe a check and seen something flag up.

Especially if it’s happening multiple times.

Try and fresh number, if you’re having no issues on a new number you know then definitively it was likely that issue.

If not then you need to work on your approach but I think the first is the issue.

For many reasons I do not use Available Today, if I did I would more than likely leave it on to 'max it out' and in case of cancellation/no shows/change in timing/change in booking length. I cannot speak for all SPs but because of the uncertainly of bookings, if I was a multiple client-per-day SP I would likely leave it on until the last booking I was prepared to accept had been completed.

I think if they had seen you before and didn't want to see you again they would of saved your number as something like "do not book".  So either these excuses are true or you may be bumped for a better option. Like a 30 min booking that will pay more extras.
   Also if you book an hour and find it takes a while to cum. They might find you hard work. Obviously not your fault but lots of SPs prefer short bookings. Depending on their pricing structure it often works out better for them to take more 15min or 30min bookings.

My comments are probably not much help but for what it’s worth……….

I had more problems back in 2016-2019 when I used to book nearly everything through AW email a couple of days ahead. A lot of bookings got cancelled, the commonest excuse was the husband, child, grandparent had a medical emergency or accident.

I stopped all that bullshit at Covid. Now I phone on the day, report my age on the text as 66 (I am 71) and have had no problems whatsoever. None seem to express disappointment when I arrive, none have cancelled to date.

You are right the shorter time between the booking being made and happening the higher the chance of it taking place. Obviously some of these excuses will be genuine. And many clients end up cancelling their bookings too especially when they are far in advance. Maybe they got a better offer or maybe the excuse they give is genuine. I dont think you really need to give an excuse "sorry i can't make it" is enough. The more elaborate the excuse the less genuine it seems.
