I thought Roxy's Den was closing down at the beginning of this year after a private developer was interested buying the land. Anyone whose been there knows Midland Road has homes and small businesses, so it was an odd but easily accessible location. Its demise means Walsall becomes an even bigger punting desert 
Correct. The owner also owns the building next door and sold both to private developer last year and they were informed. The kept the customers informed, were looking for another venue since. Basically, other the last 8 months, its been on life support, was supposed to be permanently closed in May then kept going for some reasons.
In terms of rivalry well look at the size of West Midlands, only 2 of them, so plenty of customers for both if they get their act right, both were doing well when Matt was managing both with parties arranged on different days and girls appearing in both, everyone's happy. With new owners, they had to keep shagging each other on twitter and nabbing girls, weird.
Yes Birmingham needs another one, or two. All the venues and parties are in London. Not fair on the local perv population 😕
