As title says, this group is now taking mugshots of punters, I don’t think they’ll stop there! A cropper will come for some folk, one already has had his video took. Be warned. I’m hanging my punting boots up until this blows over. Make of this as you will.

Can you tell at all where it was taken? As in, where are these cockwombles operating...and more to the point, what the fuck for....God squad?? Am back in September for nearly three weeks....that's making me a touch nervous.

Offline Bigwilts

Be warned about what ?

A Facebook group in Ireland ?

Offline Peken

Be warned that it’s illegal be warned that you probably don’t want your wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/partner finding out you’ve been visiting whore houses, that kind of warning - on top of your face flying around social media might not bode well with business contacts work colleagues and in family in general. That kind of warning, ?

It’s near where the ulster rugby team play, that area (as you’re not allowed to mention) it’s now a Facebook page as well and gathering traction.

Do you have a link to the group or is that not allowed under the rules

There’s a Live stream and activity outside a property near the Ravenhill Stadium right now.  If you search east belfast brothel you might just find the live stream.

I posted a few minutes ago about it, the girl has mentioned places in the holylands & Lisburn road. She says they will be paying these places a visit and they have footage of cars and number plates and pictures of people. Punting is over for the foreseeable, fuck that.

Offline 3imfred

There was a large crowd gathered outside a massage place on the Lisburn Road a few evenings ago.
The one down from hospital I wonder if this is connected?

Offline hrm69

Not that I have punted for a while but my days of doing so in Belfast are well and truly finished if this is starting to happen

Offline MartyW

Massages do nothing for me, paying over £100 for a tug still less so I'm unaffected. But as Peken says if that had been my punting MO, that'd be it for me in Northern Ireland. Sorry for scaremongering but...

Are these massage places they are targeting? Agree on the massages, don't see the appeal myself.

I suppose it maybe limits the choice even further of where I would go to. Maybe unless its BT1 or BT2 then its a definite no go then for me.

this thread seems high on sensation but very low on fact.
Just exactly which parlours / brothels / locations are being targeted?
And who's actually doing it - a bunch of not allowedter vigilantes? A criminal group trying to get one over on the competition?

All we've been given so far is just vague rumour

Offline scarfiman

The one I saw last week was asking about a 'special ending'
Also you could plainly see a fella outside looking at a photo of a girl on his phone.

Nolan this morning was all.about the vigilantees over in the East

So if you search for East Belfast Brothel or Ravenhill Brothel on TikTok or FB you be able to find a video from last nights gathering of locals and police outside a property in the Ravenhill area.  Loads of police, landlord had to be contacted as occupants wouldn’t open the door.  The crowd outside on the street were like a baying mob.  There are a few vigilante groups cropping up across Northern Ireland where they are, want of a better term, taking the law in to their own hands.  Some less so.  Ravenhill locals had been complaining about this property but police did nothing apparently.  Last night there was a ‘protest’ outside the property, a few of these vigilante groups were there live streaming it.  Police eventually got in to the property and a number of people were removed.  Imagine being a Punter and being in there getting your weekly enjoyment for all to unfold outside.

All these crazies ‘walking the streets keeping our neighbourhoods safe’ seem to be on the rise especially in Belfast.  It’s certainly going to make us think twice about venues and entry and egress to places.  Block of flats easier than a house to be just going about your business.

Flats/Apartments are 100% the way - I've done one punt to a house before and it just felt uncomfortable from the get go. Ultimately ended up being a great one but I digress.

I think as long as you can punt during the day, only take punts in apartments and with quality working girls then you should be fine. I don't know much about this place but from the sounds of it, if people are wandering about looking for it then it's not really some where you'd want to be punting anyway

As far as rules were concerned we aren’t allowed to mention location or people as for groups, you’d be a brave one to call out certain individuals in Belfast, you mustn’t live here.

If they're publicly advertised parlours of course you can mention them.
As for what's happening, all the national press reports I've found are showing these incidents as anti-immigrant / anti-foreigner tension, not action against sex workers or their clients.
Considering a good proportion of sex workers in Belfast are going to be controlled by gangs or the remnants of the paramilitaries it does seem a bit strange that these groups would be able to do what you say - unless they represent the visible part of intergang rivalry

This is part of the problem, while it doesn’t mention directly brothels or massage parlours the said places have been mentioned on live stream, they are targets as mentioned. Targets being faces shown and car registration revealed, take of that as you will. It’s not hyperbolic bullshit as some have made out it’s actual fact with hardened evidence and hardened people behind these groups. Call it what you will it’s gathering pace, no one wants a brothel or a massage place on their back doorstep as it seems in Belfast and the only way of getting rid is exposing the males or as one mentioned on social media “tarred and feathered” for other creeps to see.

Offline NIpunter321

I see the group were banned on TikTok….

I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, it might make them more determined and make more profiles! Instead of letting it run its course.
