Same name here as Adultwork, good or bad idea ?

Hi Guys,

New to the forum, but been reading for a few months and taking some of the great advice as I begin punting.

Question is that currently I have the same name on here as I do on Adultwork. But is that a good idea or can it lead to problems long term ?

Any views.

You could mail Admin here and ask hime to change your name on here, give a brief reasoning to him, if it really bothers you.

Something I've wondered about AW, does it keep a history of name changes that the service provider is able to see?

I'd deffo change your name on one of them, anything that can link your nicks and potentially further info can`t be good.  Besides that I'm sure you would be more comfortable giving honest reviews here.

I can assure you that if I had a negative experience I would report it here.  The closest I got was a Neutral, different girl showed but the service was really good.

Simple reason as mentioned above plenty times.

I'm faultlessly polite to any girls I book or meet, but all it takes is a wrong 'un to give you a negative on there or indeed red or orange mark you, and you're fucked in terms of meeting many other girls who might be wary. Fair enough if someone has behaved like a nutter but that isn't always the case.

If your aliases are separate you can leave at least carefully worded feedback on AW which punters would be able to decode with ease, and right without fear of reproach on here.

Started with the same, but asked Admin to change it. As been said, you have to give negative reviews for this site to work. IF a WG read a negative, she COULD do a lot of damage to your rep on AW.

I have only 1 neg review based on hygiene. No come back from leaving the review. I have had other neg punts but the profiles were gone soon after so no review posted.

You wouldn't believe how many guys use EXACTLY the same nick for AW as they do for numerous other sites ( dating; gaming etc.) and as a result, leave far too much info behind them. FFS even photos and locations!!

I had a good time, so the punt was good. 

The girl was as pretty as the pictures of the one that didn't show, so I was happy.

Yes I could have got a monk on about it, spoilt my mood, spoilt the punt, created an atmosphere that meant my money was wasted.

Only in the "ooh, didn't he have a different name yesterday?" sense. We can't see your previous names on the same/original profile. Just as you can't see WGs' previous names when they go from juicylucy to sandrasucks.

Which is why I always include the current Profile Name in my email, as in the Subject Line Hello juicylucy, I will aslo add anyone I email into a Hot List with Notes including their current Profile Name and phone number if displayed.  That way I can see if the name changes and if they don't have enough credit to display their phone number I still have it.

Previous names have nothing to do with Notes.

I've never been able to see previous names. If someone messaged me, and then changed their name, I would see the new name with no mention of what they used to be called.

Unless someone helpful can actually show me where I'm supposed to be looking?

We cannot and have never been able to see a previous name if you change your AW name.  We can see previous profiles if you make a new one as these come up as aliases.  However when you change your name it does not show your old name anywhere.  a prossie might notice if you have emailed her that the name has changed from the one you used but that is the only way anyone would know you had changed your name.

In my experience it is best to have different names.
Prossies do google themselves, this is how I got found out. UKP reviews are some of the first results from a search.
It wasn't a problem for me as it was a positive review. I have since changed my AW name without any trouble.

That is true.  However it was not about notes it was someone saying that we can see previous names if the name has been changed which we cant.  Notes stay regardless as they are against the profile not the name used.
