It wasnt too long ago that a hour cost £100 or just under, now most sp's are either £150 to £200
Punting alot less nowadays as money doesnt go too far now.

But as it’s me and I can’t resist. I’ll crack on.

Is punting a luxury already. Never mind anything to do with cost etc.

I mean it’s a nice thing to do but if you haven’t got the money to do it. It’s not exactly going to kill you is it. You can still get on with your life etc.

We’ve all noticed some increases across the board.
It’s not so much prices going up that amazes me. As to prices going up in areas where you think they should be somewhat cheaper in comparison to others.

Folk are always going on about London (My area) being expensive. But jeez when I look at how fees have gone up in Newcastle for instance.
I think I got things right when I moved to the smoke. 

Nah punting is not a luxury. It’s just a nice hobby to have.

Yip, I really don’t know what all the fuss is about? You don’t need to pay £200 for 1hour’s fun. Plenty choices with the agencies from £120/£130 per hour. AW top reviewed SP’s at £130-£150 and very good value well reviewed girls for less eg Carly currently £90 for 60min

I've just checked the agency the OP uses and the price was £110 ph from 2016 until it went up to £120 sometime in 2022 now after another couple of years it's gone up to £130.

20% increase over 9 years, petrol's gone up about 35% over the same period.

Theres a lack of competition of good wgs in Newcastle area as well. wont mind paying a higher price for a decent punt but not for a wg with limited service and bad attitude.

Goes without saying. We all want value for money.
Personally I don’t mind spending a bit more when I know the SP I’m seeing is going to be good.

We can all walk out of Aldi thinking we’ve got a bargain on this avocado. But if you cut it and it’s half rotten , it ain’t. 😂
