Anyone lost a wallet?

So I saw a girl last night, a tourer, not Thai for a change.
Punt was ok and offered a shower after which I took.
I was conscious of my belongings being in the bedroom so showered quickly.
Halfway home I check my pocket to see how much cash I've got left and.... No wallet in my back pocket!!!
Look everywhere in car and it's gone.
Phone girl, no answer. Text her... Where's my wallet?
Not here she says.  I'm already heading back by now.
Bang on the door, I've looked everywhere it's not here she says.
I barge in, straight to bedroom and there it is on the floor, cash and cards still there.
Maybe it was a simple mistake on my part which is why I'm not naming her but the fact she said she'd looked everywhere makes my highly suspicious because it was in plain sight on the floor.
Anyone else had a similar experience in the last few days?

If she was interested in keeping your wallet im sure she would have hid it and not left it on the floor in plain sight.

But telling him at the door that she'd looked everywhere suggests to me that she hoped to fob him off and keep it if he left thinking it wasn't there.

I tend to arrive with just the agreed fee in one pocket and occasionally a few extra tens in another pocket to cover any surprise extras. Any other valuable items are left at home or hidden in my car. Maybe risky leaving stuff in a car though if it gets screwed or worse, nicked.

If anyone else had the same happen to them then it would be to much of a coincidence, hence my post

Sounds seriously doubtful you innocently dropped it.

Not a wallet but my early punting days were littered with my glasses.

When I get outside and realise I can’t see, it’s a quick return.

The girl in several cases was already there at the door holding them for me

I left my wallet once with Elite1elle - phoned her up about an hour later when I'd discovered, she found it and I went back and picked it up - no iproblems - I guess it depends on the girl.
