IIRC he came back from Italy to play in PL because Italy wouldnt allow him to play with his condition/device - might not have been a bad call

Time he called it a day now, he's 34 years old, had a good career, time to put the feet up and relax.

Agreed, it was a bonkers decision to play on after the first incident IMO.
