Anybody else who has visited the apartments opposite the Gateshead hotel lately noticed how certain numbers on the entry keypads are worn a lot more than others ?  :D

One of the door ones is getting very difficult to use, and the gate if you look and press other numbers they aren't used anywhere near as much as certain ones are haha

Think they were like that a couple of years back so can only imagine they’ve got harder to read  :D

Not punted in a while and one of the main reasons is that none of the agencies or even some of the independents seem to rotate apartments any more. A lot of agencies used to have a few different incall places which presumably meant traffic at each place may not have been out of the ordinary.

Nowit seems the same place is used for longer periods of time, but increases the chance of bumping into other punters unexpectedly or having some aggrieved neighbour keeping track of who’s visiting.

Many others may not be too fussed about being seen but im always wary due to the work i do, albeit im single.

I’ve had exactly this problem more than once!

I had this issue a few years back.  I followed someone to the main door and saw the number he typed in. It was the same apartment that I was going too.  At the time 2 girls were working from it.  As we both went up the stairs I continued up a flight.  Turned out he was either running early or late for his appointment.  My SP was very apologetic.

around 2 years ago I actually got locked in the courtyard, the code wouldn’t work on the keypad to get out. Eventually I climbed over the gate.

I was talking to one SP who could list the room numbers of those used by WG and there are 2 which are constantly used by different WG - agency and Indie.

Surely the residents know what’s going on? Surprised no one has been bothered by a nosey neighbour

I had the same problem as well last year. Mind you its not a new thing - I also recall the first time I ever visited the place  about a dozen years ago and the keypad wasn't working to such an extent that the lady I was seeing (a legend long since retired) had to throw on a coat and come and collect me. :scare:

Exact same thing happened to me last week!

Knocked on a few wrong doors in my lifetime some through my own stupidity, others from people being overly cautious and some from doorsystems being absolutely thrashed :D

'Are you interested in a copy of The Watchtower?' Has gotten me instantly out of a handful of messes.

I saw an SP quite a few years ago who lived in a semi detached house, her house was on one street and next door on another, you couldn't make it up really

I've encountered that situation ( not in a punting situation) where house A is number 1,Xyz Street and the other half of the two semis is number 87, ABC road.  Highly confusing!

I had to climb over a gate of a former legend who worked at the Newcastle side of the quayside. She had one of those number locks that I could not open.

She is a miss, I have seen her at Killingworth as well. I first saw her when she worked for Diamonds.

I first saw her when she was with Amour, I like the way she conducted herself, if she was down as available on the agency site she told me to book through them and I saw her at Killy, not on shift with the agency then it was at her place on the quayside. None of this taking indi bookings and hoping the agency didn't come up with one then having to cancel or ghost the punter when they did like some of them.

Same thing almost happened to me. Luckily I was let out by a DHL delivery driver. I know it shows my age, but when trapped there, the courtyard reminded me of Colditz Castle.

If its who I think it is I once attempted to do the same thing after seeing her only to realise I'd lost the use of my legs. :scare: :yahoo:
