wouldn't it be cool if there was a likes button on peoples posts/replies.

some things people comment are hilarious and instead of spamming the thread we could show appreciation by clicking likes.

It already exists . What do you think the little green thumbs up symbol is for under the word " likes"

That is likes recorded for a user, rather than a particular post

stupid idea, which has been turned down in the past.
We're evaluating sex workers, not punters prose, and we certainly don't want to give people a reason to post spam.

Poor idea.
I make so many incredibly funny, intelligent and well thought of posts. The site would stall because of all the likes being pressed at the same time.
