How easy is it to get to the room in a travelodge?

The girl would rather not come down to let me in with a  key card etc
.
It's a civvy meet so no review will be coming lol

Offline chrishornx

If it is a civvy meet (by which I assume you mean not an escort) why are you asking on here, what is the issue ?

I imagine in a spirit of camaraderie he hopes someone will be helpful - and why not? There are many threads on here that have nothing to do with sex.

Maybe if she has booked a double or twin room ask her to request 2 keys when checking in. She can then give you one (no pun intended! :D

sure but how easy it is to get in and out will surely vary from lodge to lodge they are not all the same. If the girl won't come down his only option is to get reception to ring the room when he arrives

I believe they are all the same? You cannot get to the rooms without a keycard ... so yes you are correct and she will have to come down. Alternatively she can arrange a second card and get that to him by meeting either in a public area of the Travelodge or elsewhere.

If this is a civvy hook up I am confused as to why this is a problem?

Online RandomGuy99

Put on dark overcoat and sunglasses 😎 and go into hotel hugging the walls, so you are invisible. Give civvy a call and her to collect you or do the two keycards thing and meet outside and get one of them.

Offline DastardlyDick

Couldn't you book the room and collect her from reception/outside and walk up together or request 2 keycards?

why the need to give him a card?. Just meet him and take him back upstairs.

Not necessarily, they only change these things when they do a refurb, say every 3 years, so until they've done the whole lot, it can vary.

Offline JontyR

It depends on the travellodge. I've been in some whereI've seemingly had to walk to a  different postcode to get to my room.

I have found thought that if you book an accesible or family room then these will be closer to the reception.

I'm guessing she's already in a relationship hence her not wanting to be seen.

Offline simon07

I have seen a couple of WGs and they came down to Travel lodge reception area where I was waiting checking out my phone.
They did look nice in gym outfits. They acted as if they belonged there and so did I. Happy times.

Online RandomGuy99

I once got chased by reception staff up 10 flights of stairs in a Travelodge. Fortunately I was fitter than them and the SP had left the door ajar on her floor and her door unlocked, so I was able to get in there before the reception staff caught up

It depends on the travelodge.

Then I stand corrected. I haven't used one for quite a few years now but we have done so quite a bit in the past and they all restricted access beyond reception/public areas requiring a keycard.

Possibly. I think most of the ones I have stayed in were new/refurbished ... but as I say it was some time ago.

This may be a solution? Not available at all Travelodges yet though. External Link/Members Only

Hmmmm, that could present a few issues, since (presumably) it only sends the "key" to the phone of the person who booked the room  :unknown:
It's been a long time since I met an SP in a Hotel that she'd booked - back then, it was just a case of striding confidently towards the lift/stairs.

Quality
That must have been a laarf explaining to the SP why you were a tad out of breath
A proper TL jobsworth
Senior TL management could be horrified, WTF are you doing ?
Have you any idea of the % of rooms that are discretely occupied by escorts ? :dash:
Its an important stable aspect of our business especially in a recession when bookings reduce

I know one in the TW postcode area is wall to wall SP rented - and that the staff are well aware of that and apply "the Nelson touch".

Can pretty much guarantee that the Travelodge staff don't give a fuck. Only reason there wolf be a problem with her coming down and losing him in if I'd she had said it's only one person in the room, even then shifts change and they probably won't notice

The biggest problem with TL is that at best they dish out two towels
& small ones at that
So whatever you do is not have a shower !
Even if johnsons in play best let your clothes absorb this
& if you have an OH GF dont see an SP / massage burd in a TL
If a UKPer really needs to use a towel probably best to use the bath mat

Online RandomGuy99

I think TL would spot an SP working in the hotel if she had 6 or more visitors a day with her coming down to collect them with her glammed up.

TL also look out for unescorted guests because they're looking for people out to rob rooms.

I believe SPs take their own towels with them to avoid this issue.

Even the unrefurbed lodges now require a keycard or fob, many require car number plate to be entered into an electronic keypad.

Why isn't she booking the room for two should receive two sets of towels (and if not I would ask(worst experience with this was on a personal trip, staying in a premium grade Premier Inn room)), why can she not meet you outside?

That's because they've subbed out parking enforcement

If she's playing away in/near her home town, she's probably worried about being spotted by friends

Travelodge, Cardiff Bay, the last time I visited.

You can enter the back passage/entrance and get in a lift without walking past the Reception Desk, but you might be on CCTV, you go up in the lift to the chosen floor AND THEN you are confronted by a carded door to get onto that landing. However the guest can come from their room and open the landing door.

You may meet another desk and the landing/door may be monitored by CCTV.

The last one I stayed in had keycard access from reception to the lifts/stairs, however the lock was only activated after 8pm.  When I checked in at 2pm the door was open and stayed that way when I popped to the shop and back and into the bar next door for a drink.

I really do think it depends on the location and the staff on duty at the time.

To answer a few queries

Yes she is married, this is her first time doing anything like this, so she's a bit paranoid about being seen.

Same reason for one name on booking and one key card.

It's been many years since I stayed in a travelodge, I normally use premier inn, but she wants to use TL

Assuming she is driving to the hotel I'd suggest she goes to reception and asks for a second key as she's realized that she came to get something from the car and has left it in the room, obviously she needs the first one in her pocket and she can then go to the car and tuck the key behind the front or rear number plate for you to pick up on the way in, you just need her registration.

I've done it more than once when visiting carded hotels for outcalls, obviously as long as the client is comfortable doing that.

Get her to travel to another town where she won't be spotted.

Invest in crampons and rope and climb the exterior of the building to her room. It'll be dead romantic and nobody will notice or mind 🧗🥷

I was given a box a few months ago, when I mentioned the Milk Tray advert the giver was a little vague. Have Cadbury ceased the James Bond/Mission Impossible style theme?

use a Village hotel and eliminate the issue.

Or if she insists on a TL why don't you book the room and get 2 keys - that will eliminate the risk of her name  being used, reduce the time she has to spend going through the lobby as she won't have to go to reception and if car registration numbers have to be entered you can do it for her

VHs one of my faves
Much better than dreary TL
V.popular with SPs & massage burds
Tablet check in
& usually a bar / gym & sometimes a pool
Some have a starbucks connected
A conceivable excuse to be there trying out the health & fitness stuff

Imagine if her indoors opens that !!!! and the explaining you'll have to do !?..
