Can’t believe it.
Was’nt he sent down in 2012 on the charge of murder.
He’s up for bloody parole.

Is it just me or does anyone else think the justice system in this country is a load of bollocks.

i think he has now (at long last) admitted being involved in the attack on Stephen Lawrence but said he did not have a knife and did not stab him and therefore did not kill him. probably admitted being involved as he believes it will help his case for parole. but he hasn't said who the rest of the gang are - two, believed to be involved have never been brought to trial because of lack of evidence - him saying they were involved could (i think) make the difference.

Our system is def lacking any real punishment! IMO, bollocks to the idea of "rehabilitation" - proper punishment should come first and foremost.

It's a process - the Law says that after serving a certain amount of a sentence (unless the trial judge directs otherwise) a prisoner can apply  for parole, but it's certainly not automatic. If this "confession" stuff is, as seems likely, just an attempt to curry favour with a Parole Board, they'll see straight through it. As he's been convicted of a racially motivated crime, he's got an uphill task to prove he isn't a danger to the public.

Yes, perhaps I should have worded it better. I totally understand ‘The Process’

It’s still bollocks though. 🤷🏼
