Saw Maya last week.

I don't know about you guys but when I go for a massage I really really don't want to be making small talk for the duration of the massage, small talk at the begining and fine but not the whole way through and that's what I got.

Maya told me soon as I laid down that she had another booking immediately after me and so I knew that this was going to be rushed. I arrived a few minutes past my booked time (my fault) and when I looked at my watch as I got out after I had been in there 38 mins including post massage shower! Disgraceful, I had paid for an hour.

A few minutes into the massage she started telling me that the owner takes £30 of the £50 fee I paid and she makes her money from tips for naughty services and did I want one. I was already there and thought I'd just go for it and then she insists I get up off the bed and pay in the middle of the massage, switching the light on and ruining the relaxing mood. The happy ending was the most rushed I've ever had, nearly pulled my old man off. Even the massage wasn't great, I'm quite skinny and thought at times she was going to break my ribs.

All round a poor experience, feel cheated  Will not be back.

She's doing quite well......some only get £15, and get nothing from the first punt of the day as that has to pay for "overheads".......
It's a scam on the girls

It's not just the Asian parlours that work that way, some of the British brothels aren't much more generous

It’s a harsh reality of the world we are entertaining ourselves in. The “door fee” and “extras” pricing in these places are also set to create a friction between SP and customer. Many places charrge about £40 per hour but £30 per half hour with the girl maybe getting approx half (as Scutty says sometimes less and/or none of the 1st customer).

Immediately the girl is going to want 30 minute bookings. 5 times 1 hour bookings will give her £100 income on the door fee but 10 times 30 minute bookings will give her £150 for the same amount of work.

When you add to this the extras pricing (which my experience tells me is the same rate regardless of the length of the booking) the gap becomes astronomical. Assume for this example that the girl keeps ALL the income for extras. If it’s £30 for a happy ending then 5 x 1 hour customers inc door fee would give the girl £250 per day but 10 x 30 minute customers would be £450.

Or even wider if it’s £80 for B2B 5 x 1 hour customers would be £500 but 10 x 30 minute customers would be £950.

All of the above is fir the girl doing 5 hours work during in a day but the pay she gets is biased to try and give rushed services and also the masaman makes more money from 30 minute bookings too. It’s important that as a punter we insist of 1 hour bookings as from our point of view a 1 hour B2B massage might be £120 but a half hour only £110. It’s also why the experienced punters on here talk about asserting control of proceedings and not allowing the girl to give you 10 minutes at the end for extra services. Clearly, from the SP’s point of view £80 for a 10 minute session of tit sliding and a wank is a good deal.

In lots of the massage shops the girl is also dependant on getting her work from the masaman/owner as the only advert is for the shop.

I personally think a better model would be for the owner/masaman to charge the SP a daily rate to hire the room and have each girl set up and pay for their own advert/marketing. In this example the SP might have to pay £100 or £150 per day for use of the room so the masaman/owner is guaranteed an income but then the SP needs to ensure that they market themselves well enough to get their own trade and also deliver good and memorable services to give them returning customers.

I have visited this place a few times since it originally opened and have had a mixed bag regarding quality of girl and service, leaning more to red than green so these days it doesnt even come on to my radar

As for pricing, 15 to the girl from 40 was the norm in many places, then when the hour rate went up to 45 the girls still only got the 15, at 50 the girls tend to get 20 but what many folks dont realise is that these girls may start at 9 or 10 am and still be there at 9pm and in a shop where there are multiple girls working then it is unlikely that they will be getting more than a handfull of customers per day at the best and there will be some days where they may not get any (this is where the girls will have regulars whom they can call or text and offer them special rates if they can come NOW)
Obviously some girls, certainly the younger prettier ones offering good service will always be more popular than others which is why shops prefer to run a rota rather than have a punter choose his girl, but many of the younger prettier girls kick off about this, in these cases some of these girls will pay a set daily fee for the rooms, or if they take a booking on their personal phone they may only get the money for the extras

There are so many scenarios out there and as punters we dont see this side of the girls job, if our outlay is say 100/120+ inc the door fee we automatically equate this to maybe £1000+ earnings for the day for that girl, what we dont see is that she may have had a 12 hour day and no other customers... fuck me im sounding like i have a heart

I know one shop where there is always at least one tourer working one room and a regular working the other, the tourer does her own advertising and pays a flat fee of £600 p/w to work there, though she sleeps there too
I know the shop owner and she says that the rent from 1 room pays all her overheads, in the winter she only makes a little profit from this due to high heating costs but in the warmer months she makes a good profit, then any money made from the other room which is where she works from is all profit

I have said for a very long time that i dont have an issue paying that bit more for the right girl delivering a good service and good service at the right price often equates to multiple return visits, some girls like Nancy realise this so when they get a good clean respectful customer who doesnt try to barter there fee to the bone then they will deliver time after time, whats more they may also reward there customers with special rates, this is why the good ones get busy and the poor ones dont

Good summary WL and your right to mention the 12/13 hour shifts. It’s good to hear that some of the girls pay a daily rate as I think that (like you say) puts more onus on the girl to deliver good and consistent services as they need to ensure their priority is to ensure they are covering their own costs.

Whatever charging model you use, there's an unfortunate fact (for the girls) that often there simply isn't enough business to go round.
I went to a chinese parlour yesterday in Preston around 5pm. Two girls on a 12-hour shift (the manager and a girl-of-the-week). I was their second customer of the day. That simply isn't sustainable.

Totally agree, i had the same in Doncaster last week, though it was 3pm, ok midweek may be quieter but i was the only customer of the day at that time, and with the influx of Chinese agency girls into many areas then things will not get better anytime soon
The only benefit was the girl/woman did put the effort in to warm me up for extras

Yep agreed but I guess the point I was trying to make is that the traditional shop policy/pricing maybe out of date and it’s set to encourage potentially rushed 30 minute bookings with a 10 minute sensual ending that if you choose B2B or if the girl offers full service might only be 10 minutes at the end for an over cost of over £100.

UnDs take is right but the shop girls dont see it that way, we all know that in general, on price and in many cases of service content, shop girls cannot compete with the indies, and they are not looking to compete, it is our desire but it is not how it is
Obviously the indies market themselves on FS so in most cases you should get your sexy time for the entirety of time booked 30, 60mins or even longer, some indies will try to start off with a lack lustre massage but this is more about time wasting than anything else

In comparison the total fees paid in shops will always be much more due to the door fee, whatever time you book covers you for your time in the room and the massage, if the girls offer extras then the fee is what the girls expects to get for the service in the remainder of your time, definitely not VFM if your sole reasons for being in the shop is for extras (all you can do here is ask upfront and state your expectations, the girl will either agree or not, if she agrees then at least you may get your 30 or 60mins of happy time but you will still be paying more)

Even though on paper shops are more expensive, my preference leans towards the shops as i appreciate a good DT massage, but there are indies out there who can also provide a good massage, Thai lovely Julie at £60 for 30 mins and £110 ph is one example, and way more VFM than many shop girls

Compare Julie with say Laura Thai in Halifax, both are similar ages, but with Laura you will have to pay the door fee and then she will want £120ish for FS

Another Indie who can be VFM is Nikki the Malaysian, ex Morley currently in Dewsbury operates from a residential dwelling, though you need to be in control with her, but you can book her for a 60 min massage sesh with HE for £60 a touch cheaper than many shops these days, or you can book a massage with FS at £100, far cheaper than a shop girl, she will also do a massage, B2B and FS at £120 for the hour, again a very good price in comparison to a shop girl

Julie and Nikki also offer a good discrete location, both clean and warm inside, showers always available too unlike some of the shops

I think as punters we need to understand that our expectations dont always meet reality and if we, as i do, prefer shop meets then we need to accept the added costs

Going back to the Burley road shop, IMO this place as been too inconsistent with good quality girls and services, even the basic massage service here is shite so i give it a miss
All we can do is REVIEW, some guys often state that they have visited but havent reviewed because there are already lots of reviews, but new up to date reviews keep us all in the know, girls, services and quality can change by the day

I guess I’m trying to say that with an increasing market of both Thai and Chinese tourers a lot of punters who would have previously got their kicks in the shops are voting with their feet and as a result this is leading to the point you raised earlier about girls struggling some days and only getting 1 or 2 customers.

Julie is another whom IMO as awarded good returning customers often not raising her fees and giving that little bit more without the extra charges that many others try to add on

The two negatives dont really add up in my book, and seem out of sorts with her other reviews

The girl described in neg from John Stoves sounded more like Amy, Julies sister, Amy often works from Julies premises and also takes bookings from Julies AW phone especially when Julie is not working
As for the other neg, i do know that due to her location she went through a time of signal issues with her phone and ended up changing her provider so this may explain the comms issues on this neg as I have been seeing Julie since way before covid, seen her both in shops and at private dwellings and never had any double booking issues, comms could be slow as she would do her own comms so if she was busy with a customer then you had to wait for her to reply

Her reviews look good and a very good price. My preference is definitely for a younger SP but one to consider for sure.
