Allow me to introduce myself as a first time poster, as I thought it about time that I should contribute to the reviews.
Having found myself in Cheltenham a couple of months back with some time to spare, I thought I would chance my arm.
Without any historical knowledge of the area, and operating completely blind I did a quick google search and stumbled upon Magical Touch, and thus set my sat nav in that direction.
On arrival, after a quick recce of the area it immediately became apparent there was a reasonable chance of me being stabbed to death on the way out, or worse still- on the way in.
Therefore I thought it sensible to bail out and think of a plan B.
Plan B was, as the title suggests, External Link/Members Only a few miles away, and after parking the car on a side street with a one-hour ticket, I made the last few hundred yards on foot down a series of side roads.

It was a walk in visit where I was warmly welcomed, and asked for a 30 minute slot and was charged £35.
There was one lady in the reception area, and she showed me downstairs to one of two rooms, in the sort of basement area. I was so far down that I recall thinking if it rains very heavily in the next 30 mins, and the place floods, I'm a goner.
Anyway, it didn't, luckily for me.

Massage itself was well delivered, the lady in question who's name I didn't ask sorry, but spoke good English. Maybe early 40's, petite, - I went for firm, and had her stood on me which was not unpleasant.
I had chanced my arm and gone commando under the towel, and as I hoped, on the turn the question of extras was raised.
I went for a the HE for an additional £30 and it was delivered with some expertise. Some over the clothes touching was allowed.
After cleaning up, the last 5 mins was padded out with a nice head massage. On exit, there was two younger ladies in the reception area - mid 20's maybe, who, given the choice would have probably been more up my street.

It was shortly after exiting the premises that I realised that I had no idea which direction I had parked the car and the next 20 mins was a fairly frantic affair of running around side streets trying to get my bearings, before I got a parking ticket for over staying the hour. I wasn't keen on having to explain that one.

All in all a positive experience, albeit rather glad to make it back unscathed.

I agree with Scutty. Having lived in and around Cheltenham for 40 years I'd say it isn't as rough as it looks although that particular location isn't the smartest and it's much better than it was in the past. I haven't " indulged for some time now but would like to try MTouch one day soon and certainly wouldn't be worrying about my safety.
Anyway GCHQ is a short walk away so they will be keeping a close eye on you and your car anyway.
