External Link/Members OnlyAs i get older and busier with work, my punting schedule has taken a dive. Resorting to tried and tested places and more massage than P&G. As Torhandle will vouch , Lucy's in Ashton is usually my go to place for its near consistent okay service.
This time round Lucy's weren't responding to texts and after pulling my back, i fancied a massage. Stuck in the city centre for meetings I fired off a few messages, out of all of them , only Andrea responded. quick phone call and Time booked , she sent me the postcode . Based in the border between Manchester and Salford, a stone throw from the lowry hotel. parking is a nightmare, so plan accordingly.
once parked , sent her a message and she gave the address, asking to text when at the door. It is quite exposed , but thankfully the entrance is nondescriptive so no one would know what you're going in for. The address is quite large with different businesses apparently renting out rooms.
She came down to open the door. first thing first , its not the girl in the picture. looks wise there's absolutely no way the photo on the web is airbrushed either. It was the girl i spoke to on the phone, the accent and tone of voice clarified that, it just wasnt who i was expecting. She looked decent so i carried on with the booking.
up a few flights of stairs, she leads the way into a small room with a professional massage table , chair and a sofa. being the first time im seeing her, as i take off my clothes i ask if i should take everything off, she says yes. so off with the y fronts as well. the room is nicely heated and the oil she uses is warm. I booked for an hour and paid £50. the massage was decent and she did manage to get a few knots out. most of the time was spent with me faced down, during conversation she laughed when asked and said shes not venuzualean, personally i was getting romainian vibes .
So why the neautral? First off , not the girl in the picture, straight demerit for that. While the massage was decent , I dont think any of us reprobates go to these places just for a massage. There was absolutely no CC or any hint of any extras being available. I even mentioned I generally go to thai and chinese places and she laughed and said people go there for other stuff, she doesnt do any of that. During conversation i tried to steer it towards the stress relief mentioned in her post and she tells me its the scented oils she uses.
All in all , decent massage , no HR, CC, or B2B . YMMV but i doubt it'll be offered to anyone. Wont be going back, I'll stick to Lucy's
