Punting Budget

Do you have a punting budget? If so, how do you set it? By the time I get to the end of the year, I reckon I’ll have spent £4.5K on this little hobby since I started in March, a total of 39 punts. As a newbie, I went mad at first trying to get through my list of WG’s as fast as I could. Will this change as I tick them off?
 
I’m not big on repeat visits although I do have four I’ve seen more than once and now my HL is starting to look a bit thin now so I’m hoping I’ll slow down a bit. I want to set a budget of £3K (£250/month) for the coming year, though might go as high as £3.6K (£300/month).
 
I don’t trust myself to stick to this though and financially I have no particular need to, as I have a monthly ‘commission’ payment that exceeds what some people earn in a month – my domestic needs are more than taken care of by my basic salary – but I do feel guilty if I spend too much on myself and always have. My OH is aware of the additional income, though she thinks it’s around half what it actually is and she spends most of that for me, which I have no issue with, even though she earns plenty herself.
 
The baseline budget would give me 2/3 1 hour punts (£100) a month depending on who I see. I intend to make one repeat visit a month and in order to stretch my budget, may start seeing new WG’s for only half an hour to road test them – you get a good idea of the girl in the first half hour and learn very little in the second half hour IMO. I’ve done most of my bucket list punts so they won’t be repeated which should save me some money as those have been the most expensive one’s.
 
Maybe I’m daft, over-thinking it or whatever, but I’d be interested to see how others go about it or not, as the case may be.

I set it as a per punt basis rather than thinking in terms of an annual total.

I hardly see more than 1 or 2 a month (if that sometimes). So if someone reliable or with very good reviews or very good communication with me comes up I'd probably pay a little more than I would if I was punting more than that because I am knowing what I am getting.

As long as you don't need that money and can use it for disposable income in your monthly income and expenses then just be smart about it.

Suppose I'm addicted to punting, but that said there has to be a limit which for me is 250-300pm average. I have other interests, home brewing, football, music and cinema. And I dont spend that on them. If I did i would think I'm becoming obsessive. Its great to fuck girls,and lets face it the only way I'm going to be able to do that now is to pay, but there are other things to do to.

Can't say I set a budget, expenditure has varied between £0 and £600 per month this year.

It's a case of building a punting stash and when I feel like punting or have a opportunity that really shouldn't be missed I will punt. I might go a month or two without punting and then do 3 in a week so providing the cash is ready and waiting all's good.

Still reaching equilibrium with my finances after separating from the missus but in principle after my fixed expenses and general household shopping etc I should have a good £2k left at the end of each month. 

Unfortunately I have expensive tastes and my three regulars are all £150ph - £175ph and I normally book 2 hour sessions, so in theory that's about 6 punts per month although I am gradually finding a few good quality £100ph ladies to eke it out with some £200 / 2 hr sessions here and there as I want to try and get 2 punts per week as 3-4 days is about as long as I can go without a shag!

However, I do then get a £3-5k bonus after tax every quarter hence I have some major duos lined up in the run up to Christmas culminating in a 3 hour extravaganza with MissKDD and Lia Loves.  I intend to fill my boots to overflowing and turn a bad year into a great one!

Until a few months ago, over the last 4 years average about £8,000 a year (the last couple of months I`ve had to abstain temporarily on medical grounds - not STD I would hasten to add).  It seems a lot but I console myself with the thought that at my age it`s not my money I`m spending but the Chancellor of the Exchequer`s

If a few things I have planned pay off then it'll probably double to £800 a month. But I'm wary about over indulgence and not enjoying it if it becomes too often.

No i dont have a set budget when i punt, i spend what i choose to. I have though paid a lot less in the last couple of years than when i first discovered parties and paid out around £30k in one year just on parties, and great fun that was and excellent VFM to me.

I cap my punts to an absolute maximum of £200 an hour, £190 being the most i have actually paid for an hour in recent years. Above that its not VFM as i see it. The good thing is on average my punting costs have gone down at 121 punts in the last 10 years, a mixture of finding punting forums, meeting other punters and locating good cheaper WGs. Not many other things that have gone down in price over the same period in my experience.

I keep spare money in me safe and whenever I have spare cash add to it , manage roughly £ 250  a month on two punts , but as you guys said it gets harder to find decent punts on aw so I accumulate quiet a bit of a stash , as. punts get less , every now and then I splash out on an overnight with one of my regulars , usually bartering a good  discount for a 8 hour punt which keeps me within a reasonable budget. ,

This is luxury, and within reasonable £ framework, (£130 to £200 max for 1 hour GFE) look for physical construction must be at high end, attitude over phone and face to face must be great too.. services absolute GFE compulsory (dfk is essential, no oral without I get slight hump, but as the lady is of a high physical calibre I do say yes then, otherwise I love my owo..)
I prefer English ladies, latino, South Asian (uk born) mixed race ladies and black ladies too..
My attitude is be polite and gentle and they will reciprocate very pleasantly.
Fully showered and face shaved, deodrant and aftershave cant go wrong..
My average spend is in the region of £400 to maybe at times over £500 per month..
But I evaluate on physical appearance and phone manners and email responses..

I generally just see from month to month what I can afford.  I became very organised with my budget earlier this year so I know how much money I have available after bills etc. each month, but I have other things I like to spend my money on so I just play it by ear and if I have enough money for a punt once everything else is sorted then I maybe go for it.

At the moment I'm not in a great position financially so I'll most likely be giving it a rest for a while, but the last punt was a good one so I'm happy to leave it at that for now.

My budget is purely set by how much I can put away without it meaning I can't spend on the things I should be spending on. So in a domestically uneventful month I can do £250/£300 without raising suspicion, but sometimes it goes wayward. For example last month my sons laptop died - bad timing so near to Xmas having already bought presents. So the cash I'd tucked away went on a new one. We could have gone and got him one anyway, but I'd have had that in the back of my mind as I handed it to a WG - guaranteed to take the edge off the punt

Although I live in London and that's feasible, there's no way in hell I'm ever going back to using public transport. I may swap the car for a motorbike but I have to have my own transport.

im allways getting little earners in,mates who know people (get me)are allways knocking stuff out,usually tools and building materials,i do well flipping cars and vans,if you have a few grand allways available you can make enough to punt effectively free or near to depending how often etc,its a dear sport

I don't have a specific budget but I reckon on average I regularly go at between £200-£300 per month.
I have recently over-indulged with a very expensive porn star (who fucked and sucked me senseless, so actually equated to outstanding VFM). However, that was brought on predominantly because of a couple of deals that I pulled off that brought in an unexpected windfall, thus freeing me up to indulge in a long held fantasy.
As with pretty much everyone on this site, I've had my share of shit punts, but the good ones usually tilt the balance. However, I try not to overindulge as having too much of a good thing would lead to certain bankruptcy.

It's all good fun as long as you don't get in to financial issues with it.  But yeah it is an expensive hobby!

I think last year I spent about £1.2k in 8 weeks?  Probably more?  I know that I had an epic 3some that cost me about £550 for 2hrs and another one for £420 for 3hrs.

Next week will be my last punt of the year probably as I'm moving to a country where it's illegal.

True. My budget is £350/month although I'm well under this year. If my circumstances changed for the worse, my budget would too. If my circumstances changed for the better, my budget would remain unaltered.

My best decision when I started punting was to write a diary. It's not Samuel Pepys, but it really is fun to read back over, full of stuff I might have forgotten otherwise. Total dynamite too if anyone ever found it. Anyway, I've recorded all my spending: punts, aw credits, fuel, hotels, strippers, tests. Up to about 12,500 over 3 years. Nearly what I spent on my car! In that time I've given up for good 4 times. Fucked another prossie yesterday. I just can't stop. 
No regrets about the money spent, but I don't want to keep spending at this rate. Ought to shove it in a pension or something.

Correct mate. This year has been much more controlled and am about £500 under for the first half year. You never know when that punt you really want to do will turn up. That said, if all plans come good, I'll spend £300 in the first two days of July...... that's why I'm £500 under!
