So before the firings happen I predict Liam to go as he wasn't a happy bunny and they will say he didn't contribute, wondering if Mia may also get the axe as she pushed for the men's skirt and it was niche so didn't get big orders but Jordan was my other tip to get fired and as PM he should have put his foot down.

I'll still go for Liam and Jordan which is what i said at the end of last week

Liam went for an early bath as predicted for not being fully on board, Mia for a poor choice of clothing items

Offline Bangman

Liam was right on this task. Wtf was Mia thinking with endorsing this men wearing skirts fashion idea and pushing for it. They FAILED badly and Liam knew this would happen and argued rightly so. That's a very very tiny niche market.

Shame, cos I thought Mia was a decent candidate from this rubbish bunch, she's done OK on a few past tasks but today's episode she was the reason it failed. Unfortunately, you can do 5 good things, but ONE Very Bad, poor decision can make or break..

I think a lot of people predicted Mia to make top 5 or even win.
Here's my take on final 5..

1.Jordan, very dull very average
2. Anisa, Appears clever, but lacks personality and has lost 8 times.
3. Dean, dark horse in my opinion, nothing special but who knows.
4. Chisola..nice lady, I've seen her on tiktok, if she does a decent tv presentation, the way she celebrates by making a video is over the top. Very average.
5. Amber rose, I mean I'd fuck her, I don't mind her scary bulging eyes..but a little immature to be the apprentice.

I ain't got a clue who will win. I need to hear the business plan..

I'm glad Linda came on your fired...someone honest, I've been fed up of these push over guests with pathetic opinions

Offline fudi_maar

I thought Mia would be in the final 5. She was a strong character.....knew how to bullshit, talk her way out of things and at times, overly assertive.

I'm glad that Asian girl is in....she has some great qualities. I have  feeling that she's gonna win this.

My favourite tonight, the interviews  :scare:  :music:

The aircon guy gets through as climate change should bring demand and it's relatively easy to scale.

Offline Blackpool Rock

When the interviewers summed up it was obvious those 1st 2 to get fired were out the door, bubble tea and matching up investments

Anyway my tip in week 1 Dean makes the final and it's an expanding market but pizza and fast food is also popular and there's good margins in food, she was smart enough in the break to have a think and went back in happy to drop the bricks and mortar restaurant in favour of just doing dark kitchens

Offline DastardlyDick

should be fun
Saw a bit of this - some bird had waxed lyrical about the uniqueness of her product, only to have the interviewer produce something identical. He managed not to say "so what's this then?"

The Aircon guy will win.

Neither of the finalists planned businesses have the kind of major-scale high earning potential that Sugar needs. I doubt if he could be bothered to get out of bed for either. He needs products and businesses that are game-changing, just like his Amstrad price-busting computers were. Neither an air conditioning business nor a pizza delivery service are unique enough to deliver the turnover and profit that are going to be relevant to his empire.

Likewise with previous winners, last years winner was a gym business  (nothing unique about that ) and the year before a boxing gym and the year before that a desert parlour. I wonder how many are still going  :unknown:

However, he likes the Dean guy and his company uses the initials of the owners just like Amstrad is Alan Michael Sugar Trading.

The Indian pizza idea could be turned into an idea with them being manufactured by one of the major pizza companies and sold in supermarkets for home cooking. Unfortunately, they're not very protectable, so can be easily copied.

It's the final tonight however they had both candidates on breakfast TV this morning, I won't spoil it for anyone and i'm only assuming that i've read between the lines correctly but one of them perhaps let something slip.
Basically when asked if their families or anyone else knew one of them said about how it's already happened as the family were there when they were picking up the award, oops

It looks like I didn't read between the lines correctly as it was Anita who made the comment about the family having been there when the awards were done

Anyway I did pick Dean as the winner after week 1   :music:

I see he and his company may be in the shit already, they're being investigated by the Environment Agency for not being correctly licenced to handle refrigeration gases with a possible £200,000 fine.

It's not really a surprise that Siralan went for Dean, who looked like he was out of central casting for the Amshold HR system and even lives Essex borders.

He was probably rooting for Mia throughout but that wasn't sustainable.

For the Apprentice "brand" he gave that card to Jordan, who'd been watching the show since he was knee-high etc.
