What planet was the buyer from Tesco on last night?
I agree. I was baffled by the chap from the Tesco Buying department. If you take his bizzare order away, the other team won.
Both were awful.

And they knocked him back for almost half the quantity  :D

That other egg looked like something the dog threw up, loved Sugar's description that it looked like a Corona virus

And the other teams egg looked more like a scented candle. :dash: What was that idiots obsession with linking an Easter egg with Christmas.  :unknown:

Every time I see Emily, I dissolve into a porn fantasy where I see her remove her glasses, go down on her knees and suck my cock slowly and sensually whilst maintaining full eye contact.

Anyone else feel the same? :-)

I used to love this show but last year was the first I didn't bother with.

It was different when it first started
Now its well past its use by date
By about a decade
Easy & cheap programming for the bbc to roll out

You still need to prove to the admin your evidence, as you made a false allegation on the Tommy Robinson thread.
This was a while back, I wondered where you were hiding.

You and me both, he needs to provide the evidence he has next time he logs on.

I've sent a PM so he can't miss the fact it has to be done.

I've been checking your's and fudi_maar's posts and you are both as bad as each other with name calling and unfounded accusation.

If you can't have a rational discussion I would suggest you put each other on ignore.

Agreed! Life's too short to have pointless arguments over irrelevant topics with complete strangers on the internet.

But just to answer the right honorable gentlemans query about where I've been hiding - not hiding anywhere, just enjoying banging bitches in Brazil.

To return to the topic of this thread - The Apprentice - I thought the firing yesterday was the correct one. Johnny really was quite inept in this task. And how much would 10 bottles of wine have cost the team? Maybe 200Euros? They wouldn't have suffered from such a massive refund request.

The wine wasn't his decision though, he put himself forward to lead this task but then dodged being sub team leader which was probably what did for him as Sugar said he hadn't seen anything from him through the whole process.
When Sugar said this I thought he was going to let him off but tell him that he had to be PM next week, if Johnny had thought on his feet then he'd have suggested something like "Let me be PM and i'll prove what I can do", that may have saved his skin

I thought the woman should have gone as I believe it was her decision not to get any wine, I mean a dry corporate away day WTF  :unknown:

Exactly - it's not like these candidates are totally new to the concept - I remember a couple of years ago, when they had a similar task in Dubai, and one of the main sticking points for clients was that there was not enough wine. You'd think that the candidates every year, watch previous years episodes to avoid the same mistakes.

what do you mean 'exactly' ? - one minute you are inferring that it was Johnny's fault about the wine then you agree it was the woman's fault

which is it?

Melica having a meltdown at the prospect of having to lay a table on her own doesn't auger well. She came across as a bit of a snob as if the whole thing was beneath her. Quite pretty but unfortunately looked a bit round and dumpy in those white shorts. Gone off her a bit now so - the quest for a fuckable candidate continues... :D

A double firing tonight Frederick the PM and Keir, thought Fred was perhaps a bit unlucky but Sugar fired him on the spot rather than taking him into a final 3 in the boardroom so he was obviously sure he didn't want him in the process anymore.
Keir seemed to waffle in the pitch and the customer feedback was that he was the worst of the 3 in that team pitching however he thought he did well.

I have to say though that I thought the other team had a bit of a lucky win and a couple of people on the winning team were given a free pass due to their win.
Jordan the PM was basically useless as PM and didn't seem to have any ideas but instead just blustered and didn't give anyone any direction and Liam's pitch was like watching a fucking car crash in slow motion

Offline mr.bluesky

I'm surprised either team won any orders as they both seemed as incompetent as each other this week. ( then again they are every week to be honest ) It's hard to believe any of them run their own businesses. They couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery. This years intake take incompetence to another level. :dash:

Naaaa. This season is so predicatable. Both teams were poor and I'm surprised the other team got orders. Jordan was a Rubbish PM, didnt give any brief and last minute changes his mind to cyber hero after a mythical character briefing. He was very lucky.

Frederick was Awful, every episode he acts so over confident, claims his a expert motivation speaker, yeah right..BOLLOCKS.. his speaking is boring, the eye contact from last week speech was rubbish. This task, he didn't do anything, just agreed with Mia on everything and was about to bring in the wrong people to the boardroom. I don't like Melica, I think she's childish and not very bright, but on this task she was right, Even Nagging Anisa was right. Fred should of got back cockney Dean (who was awful for not using common sense and adding education on this task, I mean I've got 8 year old Nephews/neices and I know how they think, Dean claims to have similar age kids and still got it wrong). Fred should of also got back Kier (Who did nothing and thinks his Terrible Pitch was good). Maybe then Fred would of had a chance, But he selected Melica instead of Kier.
Alan Sugar saw the B.S. and rightly did not want to waste time and fired Fred... That was a Fantastic decision and then double firing Kier was also a Brilliant decision. It was correct to give Dean a little warning..overall I think it's a perfect assessment from Alan Sugar..

OK perhaps not so true, in her gym wear this week it looked decent.

Surprised I'd not noticed how tidy Mia is until now.

Offline Blackpool Rock

Well neither team was deemed to have won the last task and in fairness there were both crap
It was fairly clear from the last 6 that went into the boardroom who was going to get sacked from each team, Melisa basically admitted being disruptive and i'm not sure what Emma has done in any task

I still think that Liam and Jordan are weak candidates

Dean Franklin who I said may win at the start is still in but has been warned by Sugar, Anisa perhaps has something but Mia Collins is coming up on the rails and I think it was Baroness Brady who described her as a "silent assassin", and let's face it she would know

I think Jordan is particularly weak and can't see what he contributes at all. Surprised he has got this far really.
As an aside, Iceland do a few Carolina Reaper products if you are feeling brave enough to go in at the deep end.  :bomb:

I think there all crap...I was initially impressed with Anisa, not anymore. Mia is a good chef, probably the best of this worst lot.
What's annoying, all of em are dancing like kids on tik tok, some of em are making continuous cringe videos, no maturity and professionalism.
It's hard to tell who will win, so many awful candidates.

I re watched season 1 few months ago..There were so many good candidates (Tim, Saira, Paul, James, Raj  Maryam, Sebastian, Ben ) you had exceptional or good or average...
Even season 2 had sexy Michelle, Paul, Ruth, Sayed, Anson etc..

I think, after Sexy Leah and Luissa's season (I think season 9) candidates got worser

he always leaves a dead duck like Jordan so there is an easy option for sacking if necessary

he knows who is in the final already and is just massaging the teams and firing as needed

So Max went last night, perhaps a bit unlucky for him as I could see him in the last 5 but IMO the 2 weakest candidates were on the winning team and all 4 on the losing team were potential contenders so one of them was always going to get fired.

Dean needs to win next week as he got another warning, Sugar seems to like him as he referred to cheeky chappie / wheeler dealer or similar comments but said he could only let it go so far.
I like Dean and he always puts himself up for the PM role but the team don't want him  :unknown:

The losing teams picks to sell were a fucking disaster, I mean a kayak, really  :dash:

I recon Sugar was pissed off that the other team won as Liam's presentation was yet another car crash and he was lined up to get the boot, he just comes across as being a bit dull and flat in everything he does and says, reminds me a bit of Harry Kane  :D

I've previously said that Jordan needs to go and I still think he does however I do also think he would have been good as doing the presenters selling role on TV

The final episode is on 17th April so if the episode before that is the interviews with 5 remaining candidates which seems to be the norm then there is only 1 task left with 7 candidates remaining so expect a double firing next week.

Yeah I sometimes wonder if a candidate may come back and secretly have a grudge against the person whose team they are on so don't give it 100%

Personally I like the interviews especially watching some of the interviewers ripping the candidate to pieces, it's fucking cringeworthy sometimes  :D
I've been on the receiving end of grillings like that from bosses and customers and it's a fucking nightmare when you're sat in the hotseat  :scare:
I do feel for them if it's not really justified and they are just being a cunt but sometimes they deserve it if they aren't properly prepared or don't know a load of the background info that they should etc

Every candidate seems to get a hard time from at least 1 interviewer and i'm sure they must pre plan it so that they act like a tag team to make sure everyone gets a grilling.
It always amazes me that after a hard interview the candidate comes down and tells everyone how bad it was, i'd be tempted to come down and bluff it saying he /she was lovely and liked your pitch etc to put the others off guard and think they were getting a hard time but you weren't so that they perhaps start to doubt themselves

I find it the best part of the whole series.  Its similar to the Dragons den show when they are getting quizzed by the dragons.  They often get exposed as their bid or business plan has gaping holes in it.  Have these people not rehearesed this once in a lifelime oppertunity over and over again infront of friends, family and business colleagues.  And have these people not been honest in their feeback, critiquing the presentation and telling them to get rid of this and that or beef up this part.  They get torn apart so easily.
Much of the show is scripted so maybe they cant blag that the interview process was a breeze?

Yeah they do seem to get torn apart easily, as you say it's probably a mixture of poor preparation and trying to cover up the bullshit in their business plan

Offline akauya

If I were a TV producer tasked with choosing contestants for The Apprentice (or any other reality TV show for that matter), I'd deliberately pack it with 80% over-the-top personalities, those who haven't done their homework, make questionable decisions, and bring chaos to the table, preferably those carrying dodgy business plans. Of course, I'd sprinkle in just a few genuinely talented ones to keep things interesting.

In addition, I'd design tasks that push contestants to their limits. Tight deadlines, absurd restrictions, and situations requiring off the cuff decision-making. No research allowed. Just pure improvisation under pressure.

Why? Because highly efficient, and intelligent people make for boring TV. Watching contestants flawlessly execute tasks might impress a handful of viewers, but where's the fun in that? Where's the frustration that gets people yelling at their screens?

Then, I'd sit back and watch the magic unfold. Audiences would moan about the "state of young people today" they are clueless, incapable, arrogant, etc. Tabloids would bitch about the incompetence of the younger generation. Internet forums and social media would buzz with criticism, ridicule, and endlessly dissecting every questionable decision.

As a producer, I'd sit back and watch it all unfold and pat myself on the back for a job well done. My highly scripted show would be working exactly as planned. After all, reality TV isn't about reflecting reality; it's about distorting it just enough to keep people glued to the screen and talking about it.

There are very few reality TV shows I enjoy. The Apprentice is one of them.   :)
