Based on this thread (among other nudges), I have booked my second ever punting holiday and will be boring (or wise) and go back to Pattaya. If it is only about as good as last year, that is fine – it was awesome last time. But I want more. So, I have reflected on what to STOP, START and CONTINUE. Hey, rubbish work training can help us have a good punt (or a good punting week.) I do know the basics, but what I am thinking to get to the next level is:
STOP
Avoid Songkran (glad I did it once, though).
Avoid Soapy (same, but no need to repeat).
Avoid Walking Street Gogo take-away (open to visiting, but not for take-out fun).
CONTINUE
Speaking to guys, and only spending baht on girls who can chat.
Trying to spend 10k+ baht on fun daily (right mindset).
Picking up girls on beach road (street girls are ‘wrong’ in many places, but not in Pattaya).
Go to a few Gents Clubs.(maybe one in the Darkside, or Jomtien)
No BB. Seems easy, but had several encourage it last time. YIKES.
Bring my Bose speaker and get a great room with a balcony and sea view – the room adds to the event. Have drinks and nibbles in room. Hmm add whipped cream can and Nutella?
Get a mani/pedi and some legit massages. Maybe have another bespoke suit made.
START
Go with the flow more. (this is reflection, not planning). Not book TF girls in advance from UK anyway.
Go visit the Island (Ko Lan).
Go to a nightclub.
Book a 2 day LT (maybe combined with island trip?)
Drink water/coke in clubs every other drink.
Bring own condoms (even the best in Boots were not great for me)
Change time zone. Stay up until 2AM, get up at 10 or 11.
Rent a motor bike or scooter (last on the list as I’m not sure – but I do fancy it).
Would welcome any ideas/questions/disagreements.
