You verify with someone who has ID, then pass the profile to someone else, they use it for a while, then it's passed on to someone else and so on.

My friend recently had her AW verification brought into doubt by AW (mentioned a couple pages back in this thread). They removed her account until she submitted fresh verification details. I helped her with it as she's not very good with computers. Personally I don't know why she was so bothered about it as she gave up escorting approx. 4 years ago, and the profile was changed to "seeking services" so it wasn't publicly available. Anyway, she was adamant she wanted to keep the account for whatever reason. Pride most likely as she felt AW were trying to claim she wasn't genuine.
We had to submit 3 or 4 different photos of her holding up a handwritten sign with Adultwork.com written on it, her membership number, and a date also written on the sign which had to be submitted within 2 days of that date to AW. Also had to send photo ID (passport or driving licence)
The earlier photos that were sent were all rejected for being fake, photo shopped, tampered with, etc. We got there in the end, but what a palaver.
Long story short, if only AW were to pay as much attention to the multitude of fake accounts that are being created daily and scrutinise some of them, then it wouldn't be so full of fake accounts. They of course won't do that though, because it will affect their profits.
