I have been reliably informed a guy, who probably isn't a member here, rang a girl off VivaStreet to book an outcall on 07355217583. He received a message from her 'manager' on 07481238954 who claimed he was from a local agency and asking for a deposit and 'insurance' money as he was new, he paid £350 and heard no more.

The agency advised him to contact VivaStreet, the police and to join UKP. The advert -  External Link/Members Only - is no longer active.

Just shows the value of the advice to never pay a deposit given on here.

I should add that the guy rang the agency because that's where the pimp said he was from but all he was doing is using their name.

Jeees, what a kick in the nuts, I'm totally against paying a deposit, but for the guy to pay £350 🤦

Poor fella. Been doing this for so long, you wonder how people get caught like this but must be dead easy when you’re a bit new to it all. Mobile banking wasn’t even a thing and PayPal was brand new so there wasn’t as easy for scammers to demand deposits back then  :(

He might be able to claim back from his bank due to "Romance fraud". It should teach him a valuable lesson that hopefully he only needs to learn once. Nearly everyone falls for this one way and another once in their punting life.

These massages on Facebook possibly 100% legit, and well with in there rights to ask for a deposit, which is used to secure your booking
