Marrakech hotel restrictions possibly eased

Hi all, apologies for starting a new thread if not allowed I’m happy to add it as a comment to the main thread for kech.

According to some news sources Morocco has ended the rule for couples to provide a marriage certificate when staying.

I haven’t seen anything in the main thread but does this mean punting in hotels will now be allowed? Most importantly has anyone tried?

I can understand if nobody has due to the potential consequences of doing so.

its not so much whether you are allowed to (you are) but why did you feel the need to?
surely its best to keep all the information for one place in one place - and not make it like the Asia board where i started to count the separate threads for Bangkok and Pattaya (the two main punting places in Thailand) for this year and gave up at 30 - and still had about 3 months of this year to go!

I understand what you’re saying, my brain kind of went into overdrive. The main thread/forum is a majority about people’s experiences or asking for advice on punting in kech. To me this didn’t 100% fit in with what was already in there so I thought it might be a good idea to create a new one just for this article. Also thought it’s off topic but not off topic enough to go in the off topic section.

For simplicity happy for this to be removed and I will post it in the main marrakech thread/forum.

This is old news from a few months back. I’d take it with a pinch of salt. This will mostly apply to foreign couples and will not include working women you want to take back to your room. For the moment, best option is to book an apartment that allows to bring back girls.

I've sent a couple of airbnb's a message asking if they are 'guest friendly' and all of them have said no... so not sure how true this is

Is it okay to call a masseuse from one of the spas to your hotel room to provide a massage? Or does that also arouse suspicions too?
