Shot off a text to arrange a booking a few days in advance as she was touring London. Agreed a date time and fee. But she also asked for a £100 deposit to be sent to her business account.

30 mins before the booking, she cancelled and said she'd refund my deposit.

It has been a few days and I haven't heard back from her regarding the refund deposit. I have sent a few messages and they are just being left unread.

Quite clear I won't be getting that deposit back. Avoid this scammer

Never pay a deposit or do some home work on the wg

Cheers for the warning about the deposit. I did have her on my HL but just was never arsed enough to travel to SW London for her.

Anyway, hope the next is better.

Did you make a bank transfer? Does this mean she knows your name now?

As this is a business account. You can make a claim with your bank, subject to the bank you bank with or go through small claims court…. If you have the balls.
If a WG asked for a transfer more than £40 I wouldn’t do it. In addition transfer is a Nono, I hope you didn’t as now she has your name and if she knows this site, due to your review, she can link the two. Another option for transfers that I do, when I need to make transfers is amazing gift card so they don’t have my name

Did you complain to AW?

Why not leave her a review on there?
