Do exercises focused on the obliques  :hi:
Thanks for the suggestion. I think my obliques are good and tight, but I still have pockets of fat at the back. They do seem to be getting smaller, so maybe I just need to keep exercising for another 6 months and continue with my inproved diet to get them to go completely.

Skipping is pretty good for toning, and less impact on joints unlike jogging etc :hi:

You're spot on.

You can't focus on an area to lose fat by exercising it. If you do lots of ab work your abs will develop/grow with the potential for a thicker looking waist.
Exercise the large muscle groups and this will recruit abs etc if done correctly. More muscle can raise your metabolism and aid fat reduction but don't except overnight results, it's about consistently (eating well, train regularly).

But I find falling flat on your face down the gym in front of a group of muscle bound people damages my gym cred (if I have any that is)

You could also try taking some amino acids, which I have recently done, so now taking  3 x ( l-Arginine & Creatine Monohydrate ) ( capsule form )

So I take the following above, morning, afternoon, and before heading to the gym, and have notice my endurance has improved, and can push myself

And L-Arginine can also help with penis health

I tried L-Arginine and it caused ED.

I've tried Whey powders but I couldn't get them to dissolve in water, so gave up on them. Now I am using protein yoghurts and shakes.

I use Kinetica protein ordered on line. In a morning add a banana and frozen blueberries then use a mixer. This is a must to get a good textured shake. For yoghurt I use full fat greek yoghurt, add some to a small bowl add protein powder and thoroughly mix using a spoon. Delicious.

I wouldn’t recommend doing in public but skipping with an imaginary rope works .

It really shouldn't considering it's a NO booster, works same way beetroot does for vasodilation and getting a muscular pump.

As a wider contribution to the thread I've recently been cleared to begin using Tirzapitide (marketed as Zepbound or Mounjaro depending on locality).

I have a pretty open mind on pharmaceutical assistance in these endeavours, I've managed to lose weight in the past through the usual 'will power and discipline' methods and while my adherence to gym/lifting protocols makes some people wince because of the intensity, my diet and coping strategies have been utterly shot since COVID.

GLP-1 drugs plus some CBT/DBT are almost like gutter guard for dieting. Plan your macros and calories, divvy it up into 4-5 meals cos it's almost impossible to finish a large meal/binge, start adding in 30-45 min of zone 2 cardio on top of the lifting 3-4x a week and take opportunities for "little walks and standing time" during the day and finally the scales are moving in the right direction.

It does seem to have some side effects though
