Some findings from a 10 day visit a couple of weeks ago.
Las Palmas is the capital of Gran Canaria and is at the north end of the island. Less touristy than the likes of Masaplomas in the South it still has its share of holiday makers and has a decent punting scene if you do some research and are fortunate enough to have the time.
