Threatening text received

Hi all,

I've received the attached message this afternoon despite having not wasted anyone's time nor had a punt that wasn't xiangs for ages, until today funnily enough when I saw Ash on tour from Gateshead (review to follow).
This doesn't ring any bells, could it be that one of the texts I fired off this morning to try someone new was capturing numbers and then sending this out?
I did walk away from a punt that used fake pictures about 4-6 weeks ago (couldn't remember exactly) but surly isn't from that?
Obviously my first reaction is to ignore and will obviously not be paying but has left me very shaken and a bit frightened.

Would also like to add that for obvious reasons I would not want to go to the police about this and make something of it.

Whilst I'd be totally intimidated by this, if he blackmails you once and gets a way with it, he will feel he can always get away with it.

It's a pure scam mate just ignore it. Been reported on here loads of times.

Just received this txt message from some EE sounding twat.
 I did have a good laugh then blocked them. I should have waiting for their bank details then traced it.

If not using a burner phone, used Hushed as backup. You can use the Hushed number in whatsapp too. Untraceable. Anyway, hope all is well after this ridiculous text buddy.

I got a similar threatening text from Sergio yesterday who said he ran the escorts around here.

It said I had wasted one of his girls time, he threatened to use my number to find me and send the boys around unless I agreed to pay him compensation.

Sadly this game can be infested with undesirables, I wouldnt lose any sleep over it.

I relied that if he gave me his address me and some friends would bring his money over, still waiting...

OP this is almost word for word what i got about this time last year in claiming i messed a girl around, message came through on txt me. I messaged back saying i only have it in cash if he wants to come and collect it. He then said no only transfer. I promised him i would be alone then the messages stopped, but i continued to torment with messages back, I was drunk and high at friend’s house watching the boxing at the time it was actually quite funny.

How can anybody be threatening you, going off your reviews you haven't punted for 7 years? is there a reason for the lack of reviews?

How do we know that's a phone number of a scammer? it could be an escort who you want to cause issues for.

This 100%. The only way they could have your location is if you gave it to them or clicked a dodgy link they sent you that had a cloaked tracking link. I don't see anyone trying this kind of basic scam having the ability to pull something like that off.

Another reason why a punting phone/2nd number app is vital when contacting escorts.
