Apparently the Thai massage parlour on post office avenue in Southport was raided this morning by the police. I actually walked past this afternoon and the place was closed.

Jopan has only just left to return to Thailand for a few weeks leaving her sister(?) in charge.

Five people have been arrested after a suspected brothel was raided by police.

Officers searched the commercial premises on Front Street in Chester-le-Street, County Durham, at about 07:00 BST on Wednesday.

Two men, aged 63 and 28, and two women, aged 47 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of human trafficking for sexual exploitation and taken into custody for questioning.

A third man, aged 43, was also arrested on suspicion of human trafficking for sexual exploitation after a second raid on an address in Southport, Merseyside.

Ch Insp Alfie Keane, of Durham Constabulary, said officers would remain at both addresses while search teams continued to examine the properties.

Search teams have remained at the Chester-le-Street site throughout the day and a closure order has been issued.

Manee who was running the post office avenue premises in jopans absence has worked in Chester le Street. So did wa wa who has also returned to Thailand.

Jopan once told me that  the premises in Chester le Street was owned/ run by her ex husband.

I saw Jopan a week or so ago, as I've have been seeing her fairly regularly over the past 5 or so years, she told me that she was leaving for Thailand on the 10th, when I asked for how long - she said she didn't know!

Normally when she does return there for a holiday, she has always been able to tell me when she'd be back .. not this time

While I think it is Jopan herself that runs Post Office Ave, I got the impression it is her ex husband that run the Chester-le-Street place, as Jopan along with a rather cute young Thai that had recently started at Post Office Ave, both left for C-le-S when it opened, Jopan returned to Southport a month later

No idea who her husband is, but they used to travel up to the north of Scotland until recently to see his mother - who has since passed away.

It is her sister in the other shop too, Jopan did say she'd eventually be coming to Southport - I mentioned to her then to book me down for a 4 hand !!!

I had been planning to see Meena too, better wait to see what happens now though!!!

There was a young Thai girl in Chester le Street as she came to Southport for a week or so before she returned to Thailand. Can't remember her name however.

Wa wa was the other girl who was at both Southport and Chester le Street.

Can it be a coincidence that a couple of days after jopan leaves for Thailand the place gets raided?

That sounds like her, when I saw Jopan a few weeks ago she said she had gone back to Thailand with a new family, a pity as she was quite stunning !!

As for Post Office Ave, I walked past this morning, it seems the police didn't wait for someone to answer their polite knock on the door -
as they seem to have gone in mob handed with what remains of the door all boarded up and the place closed

So, that's me stuffed, as Jopan was by 'go to' for a decent massage - with decent extra's (not sure any other in Southport comes close)
(I remember a few years ago, she gave me a good haircut, then decided my toe nails needed cutting so she proceeded to sort them out,

spoke with my Thai friends locaklly and apparently the chester le street raid was linked as she says they had no visas and both belong to Jopans husband dont think jojpan wa linked other than being the manager , however her husband appears to be in a world of trouble

It's still open.

I don't know if that place has changed hands. Although an infrequent user the times i have used it in the past you pay for the massage at reception and any extras were paid to the girls out of sight of the cctv.

However last week a girl called Katy took £70 off me at reception no questions asked!

Passing yesterday seeing the front door boarded up and then seeing the VS ad for Manee up, I assumed it would have disappeared by today,
but I'm still hoping to get the chance to see her !!

I've seen Jenny before her ad seems to have gone, she's was always more interested in the ££ than any service, legit or extra..
