As this review gathered more traction and attention, Angelina (or her pimp/boyfriend) continued to escalate the situation. I was constantly spammed with more and more messages and it culminated with her directly attempting to blackmail me.

Somehow she found out my full name, and from that my Facebook (my only social media), and threatened to out me unless I removed this review

Thankfully I don’t have a partner and am self employed so for my specific circumstances her threat is entirely ineffective and inconsequential. However, for others it might be life ruining.

Angelina of course knows these potential effects of outing and this blackmail attempt is just a further demonstration of the type of person she is - unhinged at best, and downright psychotic at worst.

It also makes me wonder about her previous positives and those people defending her. I’m not necessarily saying that anything dodgy has previously gone on; but when a WG is clearly willing to go to great lengths to tamper with reviews and her public perception, it does make me question whether she has historically offered things to members to get her prior glowing reviews (often posted at a convenient time as to immediately rebut a negative review), or made similar outing threats to deter negative reviews from being posted in the first place. Oh and if you’re wondering how I resolved the situation - once I threatened police involvement and explained the legal consequences of blackmail (up to 14 years imprisonment), and that I have:

Didn’t use a burner phone (I do now!) and used my real first name both in our meeting and on my WA. My phone number isn’t linked to my Facebook but I had the same profile pic on both WhatsApp and Facebook.

So my best guess is that she searched Facebook extensively using my first name and eventually came across my profile recognising the photo and went from there. Guess you’ve got to give props for the diligent detective work must have taken her a good while searching.  I can’t remember if I let slip any other details in our meet that might have made me easier to find but otherwise must have taken a long time.
