I think might be more common but at the same time seen plenty where at a lower price point (under £400) that have the same and seen some above £500-750 that are amazing. Yet to work out the magic formula of picking the right one

I dont think a higher price relates to a better service. The SP charges what they think they're worth and that's usually based on their looks alone or what's insisted by the agency.

Sorry OP had a bad experience at such a high cost but you would not get a refund. You should try complaining to the agency. Maybe you'll get a discount which you can use on someone else in their books.

Complained in past to agencies. Got nothing. No discount, nothing
