I have a coinbase wallet. I got it to become a member of this website. I got an email stating,
"At Coinbase, we’re required by financial regulations to keep up-to-date info about our customers. This helps prevent fraud and keeps our customers safe.
It has been a while since we last collected your info, so we're asking that you please sign in to Coinbase and confirm that it is up to date.
It takes a couple of minutes for most people to confirm the information.
If you don’t confirm by xx.xx.2024, your account will be restricted to withdrawing funds only."
I use crypto to stay anonymous. Not sure if I will still be anonymous after a certain date. I did ask admin if other methods of payment would be usable in the future. I did not hear anything back. This might be a normal process. However. My wallet has no personal details on it.
I'm putting this in a post as a heads up to everyone in the UK that has a crypto wallet.
