External Link/Members OnlySo have previously reviewed the above SP with varying levels of success due to the fact that it's a bit of a lottery who will be providing the service but more often than not it's generally good.
Two weeks ago I messaged in morning and arranged to meet for 1hr at 1pm. Received confirmation as ok and again confirmed around 12:15.
Turned up at location, paid for parking, was there around 15 mins early. As I had been before I knew the flat number. So at 1pm I went to the buzzer and pressed it, just as I done this an older gentleman, around 70 years of age approached door to enter, he asked if I was going in, I said yes and opened the door.
Obviously not ideal and awkward going in with someone else there so decided to hold the door open for him and hoped he would take the lift whilst I would use the stairs. Unfortunately he started to ascend the stairs so I followed behind him. SP apartment is on first floor so hoped he would keep going and I can peel off into first floor corridor. Just my luck he is going into first floor corridor also. So held back and thought I would allow him to go to whatever apartment he is going to and allow the coast to clear.
So I'm in the central stairwell and thought I'll hold back, but I can see down the first floor corridor discreetly through the viewing angle I had. To my abject disbelief he goes to SP door, gently taps and the magic door swings open, in he goes and I can hear them muttering pleasantries to one another.
By this time I'm both confused and shocked. I turned back, got back in car, messaged irately to the SP, no response.
Had to laugh to myself that this old guy had essentially beat me to it but luckily I held back or the situation could have been even more awkward and I really didn't fancy a couples massage with my elderly friend!
So all in all never again, really disappointed but thought I'd share as I am sure some of you guys will get a chuckle out of it.
