Newly opened shop in the centre of Mold.
I recognised the owner who I think is called Jane who I've seen before at Rose Thai in Connahs Quay.
My masseuse was Di who works there every day.
Both ladies are very attractive and smartly dressed in traditional Thai clothes.
The shop is quite small and compact, similar to Rose Thai.
£45 for 1 hour, traditional Thai oil massage.
I was greeted by both ladies with the traditional Thai Wei greeting and invited to sit and remove my shoes and socks.
Di brought a bowl of warm scented water with floating flower petals and gently bathed my feet.
I was given some slippers to wear and led to the adjoining massage room which was warm and cosy and furnished with a wide massage bed, then asked to take off my clothes.
I climbed onto the table and casually put the folded towel over my legs.
Di came in and I requested a soft relaxing massage.
I have to say that it's a while since I've had such a good professional massage.
The towel was moved around deftly to cover my bits and I relaxed enjoying the massage and listening to the music.
The massage ended with a head and face massage.
From entering the shop, to the polite and respectful greetings, the traditional foot bathing and skilful massage the whole experience was first class.
I even had bit of a cough when lying down and Di stopped to bring me a cup of warm tea on a tray with flower petals.
I think I'd like to take her home.
I know it's all quite fluffy, but I'm always impressed by good service and the little extras.
(That's the only extras you'll get here, but facials are advertised.
)
The only warning I would offer, is that they use proper aroma therapy oils which have quite a noticeable smell. I don't know if a shower is available. I wasn't really bothered, but it's worth mentioning.
