NICE recommend keeping your waist measurement to less than half your height, so with being 6'1" with a waist of 36" I'm well chuffed.

Mainly maintained through diet control, particularly carbs.

How do you compare?

Plenty of shagging keeps the waistline down  :D

National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.

Shouldn't NICE really be NIHCE  :unknown:

I'm 6'2" with a 38" waistline. I do need to lose a few pounds but love my ale too much.

It began life as the National Institute for Clinical Excellence in late nineties, but later changed name (as above) but retained the acronym NICE

As a 70" tall person that can get into trousers marked 40" but finds 42" more comfortable, I'm about 7" too far around.

Perhaps that should be the years resolution, clean up dietary habits so drop 0.5-1" off waistline a month rather than worrying about the scale number.

I read that.

So now I’ve taken to wearing high heels.

I wonder if they take into account the overhang.

5'7 with a 36, so I need to lose some timber.

Try reducing your sugar intake too - I went from a 44" waistcoat a 38" in about 18 months doing that.

Wear Levi 501's.  They stretch naturally so you buy a pair 2" smaller than your waist size and the label is evidence of your trimness.

Fuck me they have an open top double decker in Blackpool for the tourists, I recon I could bounce and spring my way onto the top deck without paying with those  :D

Actually reminds me of when I 1st started going to the gym and there was a group of 3 or 4 Chinese lads in there one day, one of them jumped on the treadmill and started running but kept slipping / tripping / turning his ankle, I looked at his shoes and he was wearing what i'll refer to as "Fashion" trainers with big thick soles on them, totally useless for any exercise  :dash:

They reckon Tom Cruise wears shoes with the inbuilt raised soles to make him look taller, without them he would be his true size of 4'ft 6"  :D
