Author Topic: Never lend them money  (Read 8836 times)

A few days ago I had member PM me saying he lent his regular prossie lots of money (thousands) but she never repaid, and is too afraid to post about her as she knows his details and where he works and gave him various threats (incl. posting him on SAAFE as a stalker / harasser where he says she is a member) and justified her theft claiming he owes her for the reduced rates she was giving him.

And just now I have two UKP members both been scammed by the same prossie after lending her money (they might go public later).

No matter how many times you see a prossie, how much you think there is trust and a "good relationship" between you two - NEVER EVER trust them with your personal details or lend them your money.

It staggers me that this sort of advice keeps needing to be posted. Why are some punters so stupid?

Offline adindas

These guys are in this situation because they do not know where the line is. It is a common wisdom to adult  that applies to any part of life.

Never ever lend the money to the people you do not know or trust 100%, unless of course if you just want to help and it does not matter to you whether you will be paid back. Not just with a WG even to your close relatives, family, friends, etc. How many times we have read a story about a family dispute because of this.

Never ever reveal your personal detail, financial detail to anyone ....

I think these guys need to grow up and move on. Alternatively if they have evidence then take them to the court.

Lent her thousands? Are you kidding me? This guy deserves to have lost his money.

I agree, but you have to remember that someone of these pro$$ies are literally grand-masters when it comes to scheming and thieving - throw in a bit of pussy and (find the right guy; lonely, widowed, divorced etc) it can be easy pickings.

When I first started punting I came into brief contact with a couple of these con artist pro$$ies. Butter-you-up-nice, tell you how 'we have a connection' and then discretely slip in a few tales of woe.... on my time!

Luckily I never fell for any of the lies, mainly because the little voice in my head would always be saying 'why the fuck should you lend money to someone who has a starting wage of £100,000 a year'.

Basically the guys an idiot  :dash: NEVER trust any pro$$ies not a single one of them is honest  :hi:

Amazing how these tales of woe get rolled out, deposit for a new fkat or rent is a common one, they seem to forget that they told you a few weeks ago that the council paid the rent

Great advice, once again i hope punters read it before lending money to any WG.

The fact is some punters treat punting like dating and because the WG offers a good service they think there is more to it than just getting a good service.

I would no more lend or give a WG money than i would my builder or anyone else i do business with.

Pro$$ies are wired different from normal people, as soon as they get money they mentally spend it and then look for the next payday, money leant will never be returned, the fact they don't like giving change underpins their mindset, they don't like passing notes back, only receiving them.

Not if you treat punting as a business transaction which is what it is to me. If i get a hard luck story i just think what a load of old cobblers. Even if it were true its not my problem or responsibility. I dont wish to know about a WGs personal life or financial problems, going on about them or asking me for money would result in me never punting with them again.

The other point is a WG can earn a lot of cash quickly, so do that and stop trying to leech off punters.

Then add in she has built "trust" as a regular, then you're a potential victim.

If the 3 members here are reading this thread, name and shame. The SAAFE members can make their own minds up and would have to admit there is no smoke without fire.  :hi:

Problem is as admin posted one of them for sure has given the WG his real details.

Obviously if he decides to name and shame great, that might stop other punters getting sucked in by this low life but i can understand why he might not be willing to do this. But at least admin has posted about never lending or giving WGs money above the money agreed for the punt. Hopefully for most its basic common sense, but some people havent got that so need to be advised.

A WG I saw a few times sold me a sob story as to needing money

Whilst I was never going to lend it her,I did find it amusing that when I said I would in return for a copy of her passport, and utility bill she suddenly didn't need it so urgently

Let's be clear who's been fucked over - the punter. She conned him pure and simple and that's unacceptable. He may well be naive but he doesn't deserve this. I'd love to see her named and shamed but He's not going to out her because he's clearly concerned about losing his anonymity and she knows that - which makes her a real low life.

As pointed out below - always treat punting for what it is, a business transaction. Never ever lend money, you'll never see it again. In terms of boundaries - I lent a best mate money twice. Took forever to get it back and caused a lot of resentment. I'd never do it again

Lending money to anybody, let alone a conning prossie can lead to all sorts of problems. Even family can be awkward about it. I'll only do it if I'm prepared to lose it. I hope this prossie thief can be named and shamed.

Offline Loki

one of the reasons I don't tend to go back to the same WG over and over is to avoid familiarity...

punting is a simple business transaction to me, I hand over cash, she hands over her mouth, pussy and tits for a set time.

no messing about, so fucking sob stories.

I don't get or agree the "it's easy to get pulled in" bollocks.

Neither a borrower nor a lender be.

Not me personally --------------- but I do agree with you.

The guys who visit Thailand are notorious for this, they meet a prostitute and think she is their girlfriend, it's not long before the hard luck stories start, she needs £500 for her sick Mother etc.

That is my policy as well, if I lend someone money I regard it as lost, if I get it back it is a bonus.    :hi:

I would never lend a pro$$ie money because she is in a position to earn far more than me in a much shorter time.
