This massage took place a few weeks ago.
I had been to the gym and as they are now electrifying the railway lines.I found myself waiting for a replacement bus, which sometimes doesn't turn up. On this day, it didn't. And so I found myself walking around Cardiff, not really knowing where I was going. Anyway, I ended up at nicha massage. I rang the bell and a girl answered to say they were busy and could I call back in an hour. I left, and then I found myself outside star massage. I was a bit confused at first as there was a door to the left of the front of the shop(which probably led to a flat, upstairs) and there was a door around the right hand side of the shop,tucked away. The door was ajar, so I walked in.I saw anne sitting at a desk on my right :scare:in hindsight, I should have walked then, but I didn't. I asked how much the massage was, anne said £50.ok,i said. Can you do a deep tissue?, yes, she said, but that's £5 extra. I gave her the money and she led me to a room on my left, somewhere behind the desk anne was sitting at. Anne told me to get undressed and left the room. I was hot after the gym and I had been walking for over 30 mins and was sweating a bit.i got undressed and I took a towel out of my bag to wipe myself down.i lay down on the bed and anne returned. I apologised, saying that I was hot and a bit sweaty. She said that was fine.anne made no attempt to cover me up with a towel and just left me lying naked, butt up, on the table. We exchanged a few pleasantries and that was it.
The massage :
Anne started off working on a few reflexology points on my feet(as most do) and then moved onto my calves(left first, followed by the right one). Anne then moved onto my left hamstring(she applied oil at this point), before moving onto my right one. She used the palms of her hands to press down on my hamstrings. The pressure was soft. I was thinking at this point, THIS ISN'T A DEEP TISSUE!!, MAYBE SHE'S GETTING WARMED UP!, anne applied some oil and she worked on the inside of both thighs(NO C/C SWIPES AT THIS POINT). Then onto my butt and lower back. anne worked her way up my back(pressure still soft). I asked her at this point, if she could go harder. She did for all of about a minute(BUT IT WAS STILL MEDIUM, AT BEST), and then went back to soft. I realised at this point, that it wasn't going to get any better and just prepared myself to grin and bear it. Anne worked on my upper back, traps and shoulders for a bit(I COULD BARELY FEEL IT, THOUGH).she then worked on my neck and the back of my head. anne moved onto my left arm, working her way from top to bottom before moving onto my right arm.
ANNE ASKED ME TO Turnover and made no attempt to cover me up with a towel. She worked on the front of my calves(left then right), before moving onto my thighs. ANNE ASKED AT THIS POINT, IF I WANTED ANYTHING ELSE. I said, NO, THANK YOU!,there were no stirrings in my nether regions, and I just wasn't interested. I just wanted to get out as quick as possible at this point. anne worked on my thighs for a bit, still making no attempt to cover me up. I thought she would have, when I declined any extras. Anne worked a bit on my stomach and chest, before giving me a few minutes of a head massage.
ALL DONE.
again we exchanged pleasantries and I left.
summary : a poor massage. It was pretty structured, but I paid for a deep tissue, and what I got didn't resemble a deep tissue massage in any way, shape or form. Anne was pleasant and friendly enough, but as I mentioned above. I should have walked straight away but I didn't like to, so that's on me!
Massage : 2/10 very poor.
Would I return : no!
