Far better to post this, - External Link/Members Only -  it's more useful to everyone than 1 local traffic report. There's roadworks with closures all over the country.

Where's Walsall BTW?  :unknown:

Over 200 miles form me then.

Don't suppose this report will be much use to you either?   :unknown:  External Link/Members Only

BTW this was reported as a pointless thread, which I would tend to agree with.

Is that just this weekend?

Link says just overnight,  but who knows, roadworks rarely start and finish on time  :unknown:

If Newcastle get drawn against Walsall in the FA cup you'll know where it is now  :D (their ground can be seen from the M6 motorway )

Given that Walsall is a popular destination used by many SPs it can actually be pretty useful information if you are planning a visit this weekend.

These roadworks have been going on for years. They were why I gave up travelling to Birmingham for bookings. I got delayed on the way there and on the way back with huge tailbacks.

But mock away.

Sarah, Great Barr Walsall,  lot of recent reviews for massage works in this area so handy to know for anyone thinking of seeing her
M6 is a bloody nightmare most times.

Thanks , I was going to get a big blue bag from IKEA to put my leaves in, but they will be closed at that time anyway, plus it’s too cold today.

This was reported as a pointless thread which is something I would agree with and that is all I've said. Nothing can ever make it useful info for me.

That's where I would have to watch it from, I haven't got enough loyalty points to get anywhere near getting an away ticket.   :(

Haven't had any luck in the ballot for a home ticket either.

I drove to Walsall Thursday night, got off the junction no problem. But to get back on to M6 South, you have to divert 4 miles to do a U-turn. It was just to cold, to check for any local SP in the area, and also with the M6 50/60 speed limits traffic was horrendous

That's good information to share. Thanks
